Have a question: I have a boots with 6 flex and thinking to change my board and bindings, I think to buy softer board around 4-5 and bindings 5-6, what would u say about this type of setup? hopefully I don't sound too beginner, in fact I'm at the beginning of my snowboarding journey. What would you recommend ? I loved your take on flex, because most videos I see on youtube does not really explain flex in details and I think it is very important part of your ride.

Sounds like a fun set up. Just like is said in the video there are no “rules” to selecting flexes between your gear. You can fully customize your set up how you like it. 👍 Enjoy the ride!
I have a nitro dropout paired with the union ultras and I’m using burtons Moto boa boots. What are your thoughts on that? I wasn’t able to use over the winter but i was coming from an old 95 ride Jeff Brushie. Do you think it’ll be stiff enough like the old one?

Should feel MUCH better. The old boards were pretty stiff overall. The new boards have better cores/fiberglass so they have a softer feel but when you carve, spring and pop they feel like a little stiffer board.
I am looking at the k2 passport with a flex of 7 and thinking about the 157 cm or 154 cm.
