I actually find it a shame that people focus on Steph's shooting so much, that they see that as the only way he's revolutionised the sport. 10 years ago, hiring someone below 6'5" was a risk. Now it's becoming common practice. Steph has opened the doors for smaller guys by showing that Bigs can be demolished with skill. Before that people would laugh at the thought. Steph made the big guys humble. That to me, as much as his shooting, is how he has revolutionised the sport.

This! There was a time where athleticism was looked for more in a player. Steph showed that you can dominate the game with skill. Also people tend to forget that Steph is actually one of the best finishers inside the paint. He doesn’t just shoot the 3.

What’s funny to me is that basketball was all about size, agility, and physical toughness, but it wasn’t about skill. Kobe and MJ were some of the only superstars I can think of who relied a lot on skill to play basketball. Take Shaq out the paint, and he becomes one of the worst basketball players on planet earth.

Personally I dont think its impossible....u can see guys like Trae young, Garland hit those deep threes though not to that degree but they r pretty young too so maybe in a few years time they can actually get better....thats what Draymond was saying....many ppl are starting their careers where as steph had to create this path along his career so in numbers ppl might cross him but he will forever be our GOAT shooter

As the person who created this path, he will always know something the others don’t. And DISCIPLINE is the main point here. He talks about both Steph and Dame here actually.
The mind is a beautiful thing. His level of dedication to getting stronger shows. Definitely makes watching him play highly enjoyable.
I love it. He evolved the game. Dude has some of the greatest handles, too. And its not like he's heaving these and having amazing luck, he's squaring up for these long balls. We are lucky to witness this.
Funny the Haters really come out when Steph does something special...They only talk about what he can't do or hasn't done! Without trying to they end up making the case for Steph's greatness! How because the only other players they can compare him to are all time greats! Over the last decade only Lebron has accomplished more! If you don't agree name them and what they have done!!! Facts are Steph is the only person in the world who can do what he does!!! Facts....Okay send me the video of someone anyone else making 105 threes in a row....I'll wait....Lastly do you know what we never hear....That Steph is the only unanimous MVP ever....They have been 52 finals MVP's but only one unanimous MVP...Steph Curry
Great stuff man. Please never stop doing this
Love this video, awesome job. About the question you asked, i believe with enough training and energy then yes it is possible. But it feels like batman, technically yes it is possible to be batman irl, but you need a lot of money, power, and time. However its so incredibly rare for it to happen its like it wasnt possible.
I love your narrations - you are awesome, huge respect for your work.Coupled with my favourite player & this is Gold. I watched the All Star game & you can take his shots a little for granted at the time. When you see the stats as you have - INSANE. As Le Bron said “ Not human, not from this planet, has a sniper sight attached to his arm!” The joy he plays with always turns a bad day into a great day when watching. Love that Le Bron made the winning shot- his grin was huge- two boys from Akron showed how it is done! Thank you again huge love from New Zealand❤️❤️

I thought you were gonna do a breakdown on that first shot you showed. It was hilarious looking at Giannis watching that shot go in and stare at Steph (not looking at his own shot go in).
Bro, this video is too 🔥🔥🔥🔥. Felt like I was in a group of friends, listening to a fellow warrior fan, break down why Steph is a legend.
You can't hate on Steph for his hard work in the weight room and dedication to perfecting his craft. His ability to shoot comes from hard work, nothing else. Haters gonna hate.
His conditioning, muscle memory, and confidence are insane!!! Still can’t believe Durant was once a Warrior lol

Could I have that range with the right training and everything? Probably. Would I be as efficient as Steph? Hell no. This man is special. It’s unlikely that anyone could ever have the level of efficiency he does from higher distances
Steph Curry stats never fail to amaze and surprise somehow
This was a Great video. I learned a lot about my favorite player. Thank you so much 😃
Your videos are starting to get extremely good
He is the greatest shooter! Awesome! I've never seen anything like him. I love to see him play. He loves the game and is so much fun to watch. To me. . .he is the greatest.
because of a consistent deep 3 shooters, that adds soooo much to the game and makes it a lot easier to see beautiful ball movement and new offense/defense tactics among the teams. ruining the game? what are they talking about? I rather say the corrupted refs who gives random Ts or kick people out the court for smiling are truly the people who ruined the game.

@@quirkasaurussaurus2896 YEEEEESSS!!! The 2 worst rules in basketball: A player jumping into the defender ( or deliberately coming up under his arm) to get to the free throw line - to me, they have to resort to getting to the line because they can’t make shots in the course of the game! I think that should be HUMILIATING to them!! And secondly, deliberately fouling someone in the back court to stop a transition basket!! How is that fair?!! It’s not a play on the ball - shouldn’t be acknowledged as “ a basketball play” - and just like “ clear path” fouls, the other team should get shots and possession!
Another great video man!
I love you double d ive been watching for a while on my main account but i am signed in on my alt rn. But much love my man. keep doing what your doing
I would have to agree with everything that you’ve said in this video. But I do think you’re missing out one substantial factor in his greatness.. His depth perception is genetically unique. His father was a great shooter for this reason, his brother Seth Curry of the Brooklyn nets displays the same ability at times. Lewis Hamilton F1 GOAT has expressed this as his being advantage over other driver (Breaking later for every corner), his brother has cerebral palsy and is a professional VR racer. Just to throw out another example… Combine unique depth perception with athleticism, work ethic, opportunity and of course reconstructed broken ankle strength lol

and about the quote steph said, if he can't get past the bigs or go to the hoop cos of bigger guys, , he just shoot 3s and off everybody goes the other way.

Many players shooting long range now just a testament of what hardwork and dedication can bring you...Steph Curry showed to world that even if your not physically gifted you can still dominate the game just by pure skills
Curry has also said that the shot starts with mastery of the dribble. The various dribbling drills he does in practice are insane.

I am 6’3 with a similar build to Steph. I started watching Steph’s highlights and the way he shot and I replicated his form and how he goes about his shots, and after about a week or two of practice, I played some runs with it and I was on fire, shooting somewhere around 70-80 percent from the field with a majority of my shots being from three. I’m sure I was just hot that day and the day after when I did the same thing, but overall my shot improved as well as the range I can make shots from.
Yesirrrr I was waiting

A couple guys I use to play with in varsity saw that I could shoot from wherever the court, whenever... I unfortunately left because my height was a factor:( I wish I would've continued.. I still go shoot around at times & reminisce.
Sit back and enjoy his shooting, remember he is not the one saying he’s the greatest shooter 😇 and that is a testament to his talent when others recognize
And beyond all of that he did such things in a very quick release 🤯
I would love to see Steph live. Awesome player ! Love his family too. Go Cannon go.Taking after Daddy.

I think it’s possible to have it reliably but you need the perfect combination of some above average hand eye coordination, playing basketball since you’re 5, unbelievable strength and conditioning programme, unbelievable basketball skills training programme, ridiculous endurance, insane work ethic and that killer mindset. By the time he is 15, he has already been playing for over a decade. Let that sink in, how much time he has invested into perfecting his craft.
He is amazing
7:31 is the most Steph thing to say
The way he looks a Trey before it goes down… 🥶🥶🥶
Smelled a 🔥 vid so I hadda watch
You know how they say to be an expert at something you have to do it for 10,000 hours? Steph's been shooting 3's for like 100,000 hours. That's why he can do what he does.
And you have to recognize not just his shooting but how tall he is compared to everyone else and still drives to the basket better than some people who may be 6’5 or taller
That wardell indian food caught me off guard lol
Steph!!!! 🎆🎆🎆🎇🎇
Stephan has great shooting ability in his DNA but also the will to be the best he can be. That includes making the sacrifice to practice from the age of 3. Everyone else that wants to challenge him currently is years behind him! Good luck, other guys! It's too late for you!
His know when Its going in the basket range is crazy. First player ever. Wow

Wow!
i remember in a game one time in a game i took a very deep shot my coach was like "thats too deep!" it went in then he was like "good shot"
It's nothing but net on most of his shots. This isn't luck, it's skill and I think people have a hard time recognizing pure greatness.

Th longevity that he’ll have as a player because of the shooting ability.
And this why Steph is my favorite player
1:50 can we talk about how that dude just dived straight towards Steph curry
His shot slot is always the same. He could do this with a blindfold if you told him the distance. It is serious muscle memory.
He is a magician
8:35 I had have that range at 14 years old, but not the efficiency of course 🤣🤣🤣
I honestly hate it when people say Steph is only the best shooter, he's weak at defending and layups. They don't understand, its the fact that his shooting skills overshadow his other skills.
Zaddyy 👍🏿😩
DoubleD what's up bro
That's a good point, I don't like seeing guys jack up 3s all day, I'd rather see plays being ran with screens and dunks. However, Steph didn't tell him to shoot it! 😆 only he and a few others should even be attempting those shots
I think with training and lots and lots of it you could be better at 3s but it’s not just sitting threes like Stephs ability to create space to shoot and his releases to shoot and his off ball movement and his of the dibble on the catch shots are what make him better then the rest, with enough training anyone can be good at shooting cause it’s a skill but no one will ever be as efficient as him, klay before the injury was a good second place
Mans a whole Robot Fr
Yes and yes.
It that decade where if you're not a stephen curry fan or atleast appreciate him then you're missing something historical in basketball game
Also look at (3:48) the distribution of 3’s around the arc, not favoring one side over the other…spooky
Man I feel like this video isn’t gonna get into jumpshot mechanics and that bothers me because it’s a big part of how he’s able to generate that type of power seemingly with ease
