@@butterflybeatles have you ever read Jordan Chandler's testimony? He said what Michael Jackson was doing to him felt good, therefore he didn't protest. The 2005 accuser was seen holding his hands on the BBC documentary - to me, it seems these boys were willing to engage. Therefore, even if MJ abused them, let's not blame him? I didn't say Andrew was a demon. But being friends with Epstein and all that came out is obviously a scandal for the Royal family. And it's not believable that he "doesn't remember" if he had sex with the teenager. You've either have, or you haven't. It's a shame that people forgot all about it and are hung up on something that the queen wishes to support. I think it's unfair how Meghan is being portrayed. I don't support them announcing via Instagram, but I don't support this much negative coverage either. Peace.

That’s not the country’s business and this is where we should butt out- I have a son and no matter what he does or doesn’t do my relationship with him; whatever I want to give him is not even the business of his father, let alone a community. Harry’s father is supporting him with his own money, so please stop! Harry was born with his titles; a born HRH and not even the queen can change that. The Crown estates are as much private land as a private woodland or a private manor or a private factory or any piece of private land. The whole premise of science and philosophy is consistency, so if you are unable to see the inconsistency with scooping up private land and "returning it to the people" (if you mean public ownership, fat chance, the government will just sell the land off) then maybe you should stay out of this debate sunshine.

i wish them happiness - for ever - happy? trouble is HE is not a regular common person, but belongs to a family called British Royal Family...it's complicated. @Anon Ymous exactly right. Even in the past for fear of backlash the queen has given like 80% of the royal income back to the UK. The royals know they have to impress us to keep their lifestyle. Ie charity work, good behaviour in the press etc. Harry and Meghan if they could choose probably don't want any association with the royal family tbh

Sammy the royal family is wealthy in its own right. It is quite common for wealthy families to support their offspring. Harry and Meaghan said they are going to work towards financial independence and they both have wealth of their own.

@@lisaandmatthieu4570 00 she did. I am most certain that Prince Harry and Megan can get jobs in the USA and/or Canada doing anything they want. They can, in addition to raising a lot of money for the charities for which they want to take part, bright enough to do anyting they really want to do. Harry needs happiness and he's always been someone depressed after his mother's death because of the paparazzi. He hates how some of the British & preas have spoken badly re: his wife. Some people in Great Britain have been unkind because she's mixed & American. If they do leave the Royal Family, Harry will find out it's not as easy as it was for him growing up, but he served in the military. I doubt for one minute that Harry & Meghan don't have the ability to thrive outside of the Royal Palace and monarchy. Harry takes great pride in his ability to help people and bring people together four common good for the sake of humanity. It will be a change in his way of life for sure, but I believe that should he and his wife give up their Royal duties entirely, it will be a change but I know that he is strong enough to make it through and so is his wife. The grass isn't greener on the other side but it's just different. People don't have to look at this as such a negative thing but I knew if anything ever happened and issues arose after Harry's wedding that everybody would blame it on Meghan. I seen this was a joint decision and I noticed after they had their baby and they kept private, & that's when I got the feeling that they wanted even more privacy. The Privacy they wanted for a while regarding their royalty, and not having anything to do with them as human beings.They would be working for an honest living & having careers like everyone else does. Prince Harry is one-of-a-kind and it wouldn't surprise me if he even went into politics in Canada just to be in a position to help people more because that's the kind hearted person he is.

Britain was excited to have Meghan as the new Duchess in the beginning, there were a few tabloids that tried to uncover 'scandals' but that happens to everyone over here so no one paid proper attention. I have never once heard anyone in conversation be racist towards her, her race seems to be a bigger deal in America than over here in the UK as far as I can see.

@Nate Conner I do understand that, and I'm not denying racism in the UK. It's just from the general consensus I have picked up through talking to people in Britain, race was not an issue with Megan. But again, I obviously have not spoken to everyone in the uk. And the fact that everyone seemed very excited to have a woman of colour welcomed into the monarchy seems to suggest that there are other reasons for people's disapproval, everyone loved Megan at the start. I am not denying racism exists, just the idea that all people dislike her for her race. I am scared the world is starting to view Britain as a bunch of racists and that isn't true!!

Ruth then perhaps they’ll come clean on the issue of the expense of security and who’s pocket the money will come from! Many Canadians would prefer not have their taxes spent on security for them, the Brits feel the same way! It’s wonderful that they want to earn their own but neither can legally work in Canada without a work permit/visa. Harry can’t work in the USA without a green card

He called out to her on his dying bed “Wallis, darling” over and over and she never came to see him the last week of his life. She mentally and emotionally abused him for years, even sending him home from parties so she could stay to enjoy. There are many accounts where he has been referred to as a sad pathetic old man. He gave up everything for her and she felt trapped by that and resented him for it. She found him boring and useless, with no real purpose or “pep“. Look deeper into the story of Edward VI and Wallace Simpson. You will find that this was not a happy love story as it first appeared.

Times have changed, I am sure they can all do good & give the British people a focus in the future for different events but all the assets they hold should come back to the people, for without the people who actually built these assets they are nothing. Everything changes, Monarchy should too! I have nothing against the actual persons of the family, they were mostly born into it, so had no control how their lives would pan out.

They can’t be independent and royal as well. They need to lose their titles and all taxpayer money. They must be prevented from commercialising their titles also. They can’t be half in and half out. @@hemadear2509 I think Prince Harry feels guilty. Diana phoned her boys before the car accident. Harry wanted to play and got off the phone quickly. I think this is affecting him. Perhaps he doesn't realize it. He could have not brushed his mother off when she phoned, but he did.

"Modern Monarchy" is an oxymoron. The more they become very modern, the more they become commonplace. Their family names will be more reduced as a marketing tool for their financial gain just like what the Sussex has already started. To be fair, despite initial impressions, the Queen has always been progressive but still kept an air of mystery and stoicism.

@Cj It's foolish and ignorant to say that one doesn't care about the royals, especially the British public and the rest of the Commonwealth nations because every step they do can affect the British economy (mainly because taxpayers now support the royals), society, culture, and international relations. Even if you live elsewhere, it would still have an effect because your heads of state's relationship to the Queen can have an effect on how the move and decide things for their own country's future. We have an active political world "ecosystem" so as much as you have your personal lives to deal with, you're life is still, in a way, being affected by any major head of state's decision. Besides, this video obviously made you care enough to write a comment.

Sammi F. No. She has a calendar full of engagements which she has dutifully carried out. Her life is in service of others. She has tremendous perks, yes. I am sure she has often times not done exactly what she wanted. She has put the monarchy ahead of family. She probably didn’t want to forbid her sister to marry the man she loved. She probably wanted to attend Charles’ second marriage ceremony, but felt as head of the church she couldn’t. I am sure she was not always happy to be bound by the conventions of the church or of the times. All in all I think this wise woman has done admirably well. She will be a hard act to follow!

Queen Elizabeth does deserve respect. She was born in a totally different era and has remained a stabilizing force throughout. With that said, the monarch's time has come & gone. The key factor here is the amount of $ they continue to cost the taxpayers of Great Britain

This is a family matter instead of a Monarchy matter. Plus all good changes are positive things 4 the next generation.

Racism is ingrained in the DNA of a good proportion of people in the UK, some do not even realise it. Childish by William to do on his brother; must of forgot Harry is no longer a little boy. He's a grown man making man decisions for his family in a positive way. With the Andrew scandal and the possibility of the Queen retirement in a year or two, the monarchy I believe will fall. Harry is the future because he's more relatable to all people.

According to The Guardian News: The Sussex Royal brand has been applied for to the EU in Italy and was written in German with English as the second language. Talk about sneaky. It's less surprising to me than most people seem to be feeling. With William's kids it was inevitable that Harry would be pushed into the background. William was always going to be the big figure because he's in line to be monarch.

⁉️⁉️⁉️ When David Cameron suddenly quit was less covering about it. And as PM of the UK had economic and political consequences, even international. I think British people should pay more attention to their relationship with the EU. By the way, Scotland had a march for independence, again. The focus should be in the financial part. Who care if Queen agrees to let him come for Xmast or visiting his father in the palace. And the tittle is the less important. He’s not got start a war in the name of the Queen.

@@cavlizzy thats what Harry and Meghan are giving up, they wont get any funds from the duchy of Cornwall. They'll instead get money from the crown estates which Eugenie and Beatrice do. Harry wont be getting money from the duchy once Charles is King, William and his family will have that.
