Thanks for all your videos. I discovered them recently while searching for videos on beekeeping, which I am entering my second year of doing myself. My kids enjoy them as well, and I like that they're learning. On a side note, I spent 4 months in Ecuador back in the mid 80's. (yeah, I'm old) 😀

I've been growing pineapples a long time. I've always took the cut top and just planted it. Next time I'll try removing the fruit bit and exposing the roots as you did. Maybe it will grow faster :)

This is actually a really cool idea, a mix of two of my favourite things, a bit of science and cooking shows. The recipe looked really freaking good too, it's a little before dinner time and my stomach actually growled when I saw those skewers. Btw I have always wondered how a kiwi grows. I know I could easily look it up but I would rather have you enlighten me :)

I never ever thought that's how pineapples grew or that those "pines" were flowers! Would it really take years to grow a pineapple provided that I only give it enough water by the way? Thanks for the video. I didn't expect to see something like this, but it's amazing to see how diverse our nature is =)

Apparently forcing people to run through pineapple fields was used as a punishment. They also contain a flesh eating enzyme called Bromelain, that digests the proteins in skin and flesh.

I think this is the first video I've seen with relatively many views and zero thumbs down. I always thought that at about a thousand views KZread just sends some troll your way just to rub your nose down a bit and to remind you you're not all that great. I guess Maddie is just too nice for that.

I have a couple of pineapple facts. 1. In the 17th century the pineapple was worth the equivalent of £5000. 2. The tingling feeling when you eat a pineapple is caused by a flesh dissolving enzyme called bromaline.
