Two leaves from the top of my ZZ plant started turning yellow and bended over, Should I cut it in half? or is there anyway to avoid it to spread? Amazing vid btw

Trim the yellow leaves. To avoid gettting yellow leaves, water properly (keep them on drier side), don't let them get hot or cold airflow. They are hardy, if you doubt the whole stem is dying, cut and propagate it, it's very easy.

My parts of the stems on my zz plant are dark almost black marks why and some of the stems and leaves are turning yellow

Seems like you are over saturating the soil.

One steam of my ZZ is spotted with black spots and stem have rinkles and leaves are yellow and it's getting brown and it's diying . My conclusion is root rots so i am gonna try to put them in different different pot and cut the rotten part do you think it's correct step? I have brought soil mix from Amazon by ugaoo cow manure and red soil mix please urgently help me.. i love my plant so much. Please help me to save it

Yes, you should definitely repot it. Don't water zz too often. They store water. Try to make a fluffy and light weight potting mix. You can add coconut chips. And since they are rotting keep them on drier side and give them very bright indirect light.

My stems are wrinkly ? Do you have to cut them off or am under watering them?

Chances are you are overwatering, If you are noticing wrinkles with yellow leaves. Stems go mushy and loose when overwatering. You shoul let the upper soil dry and wait for 2-3 more daysalways before watering . keep them on drier side.And If its underwatering you sill see wrinkles first before any other sign.

@@GreenBackyard tbh I haven’t not gave it water like over 2 months maybe more and that’s when I repotted it because I noticed the leaves were yellow and the stems where wrinkly as well. Once I repotted, it gave new growth two little stems. I had watched a different video saying that the plant can last months without water.

Is there yellow leaves too, that are soft and your plants are soft(mushy) at the bottom?? Or it's just brown leaves that are dry and crunchy??

@@sanjayduggal362 if the leaves are dry and crispy, that's a sign of underwatering, take a bigger pot fill it half with water and place your plant pot into it so that half of the pot get submerged in water. I just got my zz and all the leaves on one stalk turned yellow do I cut only the leaves or the whole stalk?

Remove the whole stalk if it feels mushy and loose at bottom.it may be rotting.

oki doesnt exactly feel mushy cause i just got it and there are like 4 stalks one 1 rhizome and i just repootted it and it started turning yellow @@GreenBackyard
