    Lughing Buddha is not the founder of the Buddhism we know today. The Chinese mendicany , Hotei or Pu-Tai is better known as the Laughing Buddha. The image of Hotei is based on a Chinese Zen monk who lived over 1000 years ago. It was due to his large protruding stomach and smile that he came to be known as the Laughing Buddha. This statue has nothing to do with Siddharta the Gautam , who taught the path to happiness.

  • @GreenBackyard
    @GreenBackyard11 күн бұрын

    Trim the yellow leaves. To avoid gettting yellow leaves, water properly (keep them on drier side), don't let them get hot or cold airflow. They are hardy, if you doubt the whole stem is dying, cut and propagate it, it's very easy.

    Question: I want to propagate, then replant them in the same pot as the mother plant. How close should I plant them, though? Should I instead plant them in individual pots and plant them together later on, once the mother plant requires a bigger pot?

  • @GreenBackyard
    @GreenBackyard13 күн бұрын

    Plant them separately in a smaller pot. Plants with small root balls need small pot. So that the soil dry out quickly.

  • @GreenBackyard
    @GreenBackyard18 күн бұрын

    Your plant is rotting slowly. You try to save it by cutting ✂️ the bottom part. Make the cut below a node and remove the brown part. But it's risky . It should grow roots again. Sometimes they fail to grow roots. Watch this video - kzread.infokAzU7PKrywo?si=BkEmIhfzSDDGRlMX
