Please note after this video I listened to the recording on the computer, and found that sometimes a bit of the audio was dropped. Like a part here and there was just missing. So unfortunately it seems this unit is not completely 100 per cent reliable. Keep that in mind if you plan on recording something REALLY valuable that you can never redo any part of, or if you plan on synchronizing the soundtrack with video on your computer later.

Hi, I want to make a music video on my android phone but don't know how to combine it with a digital voice recorder instead of using an external phone microphone I have never done this sort of thing before how would I mute the sound on my phone video while playing guitar so I could add the video to the recording on a digital recorder?

sup dude! I'm not very sure what you're asking but it sounds like you want to add video from your phone to a soundtrack recorded on a voice recorder. This you need to do in a video editing program; try openshot.org Is that what you needed?

Hi, since I wrote this I have just purchased an m audio 192/4 interface and a Marantz MPM 1000 condenser microphone with XLR plug I originally wanted to do the video on my phone.The problem I was having is that I was getting fluttering and guitar string vibrations when I recorded myself. I had been using my phone's internal microphone at that time.Then someone suggested I get an audio interface I am now thinking of doing the video on my laptop but the in built camera gives really grainy videos would a proper external webcam make any difference or is it because my laptop is a few years old I am not used to making music videos I only know how to play guitar or set up my amp I really need a bit more information on making videos. I myself think that phone videos look much better than laptop ones but maybe I should try getting a webcam first I will have a proper digital recording now with an audio interface it is just how to combine sound with a separate video does the app you mentioned work using my interface recording I just want to learn how to combine both sound with video what do you suggest?Thanks Andy, Glasgow,🥰🤩🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿😮

Well for video in my opinion, camcorders with proper zoom and if they have a microphone input and face detect and stabilizer, are still the best for any kind of video recording.
