A Catholic is not a Christian! Christian's are born again by the free Gift of God! BELIEVING that Jesus is God in the flesh! He died was buried and rose again on the 3rd day to wash and cover our sins in his precious blood! 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 [1]Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; [2]By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. [3]For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; [4]And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:Ephesians 2:8-9 [8]For by GRACE are ye SAVED through FAITH; and that NOT OF YOURSELVES: it is the GIFT OF GOD: [9]NOT OF WORKS, lest any man should BOAST. Ephesians 1:12-14 [12]That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first TRUSTED IN CHRIST. [13]In whom ye also TRUSTED, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye BELIEVED, ye were SEALED with that holy Spirit of promise, [14]Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

I've never really spoken to anyone about how I've been struggling with my faith, aside from my wife. I was an atheist because, honestly, I thought it was cool. I was an edgy teen, making edgy jokes. But, one day, I got a call from my dad. He told me that my uncle mark had passed two whole months prior and my aunt hadn't said anything to anyone of us about it. I was so mad, I've never cried so hard in my life. I wrote her a very nasty message on facebook after some drinking (not the best choice of actions, I know.) I was at work a few days later and on break, still steaming. I looked up and just above the tree line, I could see the cross atop the church on the next block. I started to cry again and asked "why? How can someone be that way to their own family, knowing how much that person meant to them?" I felt this warmth well up inside me and it was saying to me "You can forgive her, but you are not her judge. Your uncle is in a better place now. He is ok." Sorry if I'm rambling. I've just never broke down and prayed before and it honestly shook me to my core and I felt so amazing afterwards. I've been doing a lot of reaserch and soul searching since then, and I feel that the catholic church is for me. I want to be a better man, for myself, my wife, and our future children. All of the videos I've been watching have really helped me. Thank you so much. Again, sorry if I was rambling. haha

  • @Nathanh56

Nick Villano I was raised Catholic as well until I discovered it was satanic at its core. I read the words of Jesus and it changed my life. He said we must be born again to enter into the kingdom of heaven. I gave up everything for Jesus. I became a new creation and Jesus changed me. I could not do it but Jesus did when he came to live in me. The ROMAN Catholic Church makes Hitler and Stalin crimes look much smaller. 60 million Christians beaten, tortured, imprisoned, raped, and murdered for the gospel of Christ and for not bowing to the Pope. This does not count the millions they have killed through their secret orders such as the Jesuits who work to infiltrate and subvert governments. During the time of the crusades and inquisition, the popes made up their own laws which still today are cannon. These are the same popes who murdered and tortured millions and satanicly molested children. I have studied the occult for thousands of hours. The Catholic Church is pure satanic Babylonian mysticism watered down and mixed with watered down Christianity. It was the Romans who had the power and were manipulated by the synagogues of Satan to crucify our Lord. Today the Vatican still has close ties to the synagogue of Satan. Protestantism is not the answer either. They all have false doctrines and teachings. Jesus Christ is the answer. Jesus said and man shall be taught by God. We cannot rely on man or traditions or teachings from the church but God first. Yes there are teachers but God comes first. Take everything to God through much prayer and fasting to know the truth. We must also be living righteous or God will not reveal the truth to us. Ask God is purgatory real? What is necromancy? Is praying to dead people biblical? Who is a saint according to the Bible. Is what I know in the Bible? How do I know what I know? Was I just taught by man or did God teach me? Who is the queen of heaven? Jeremiah 44. Why does the Vatican have an obelisk or an Egyptian phallus symbol or penis situated in front of the dome just as Washington DC? It is sex magick. Do we need a priest to act as a mediator? What does it mean the veil was torn when Jesus was crucified. What is born again mean? A little leaven, leveaneth the whole lump. The pope's title is Holy Father and Vicar of Christ which means replacement of Christ. The pope's mitre comes from Dagon. The list of damnable heresies goes on and on. I'm pleading with you Catholics, seek God with all your heart, then you will find him. Sincerely ask God over and over, praying with all your heart and fasting and repenting of your sins. Ask him if Catholicism is wrong. Even if it is just one doctrine. We must worship God in spirit and in truth. Sadly Catholics do not know the gospel. They don't understand why Jesus was crucified. They don't understand what being born again is. They don't know what baptism is. We are buried with Christ. Jesus said whoever seeks to keep his life will lose it and whoever loses his life will keep it. We are to die daily. When we are in the flesh, we are absent from the Lord. The Holy Spirit comes to live in us and it is only by the Spirit that we repent from ALL our sins and live righteously. We cannot do it on our own. But do not be deceived, sin is death and all sinners will burn in the lake of fire. There are either sinners or saints. Yes we have all sinned but if you continue living in sin, you will perish. There is no purgatory or praying for the dead. There is appointed once a man to die then the judgment. We are tried through the fire on earth like Job not in purgatory which is made up. Jesus is God manifest in the flesh. He is the word of God and we must be filled with the Word. The Bible is the word of God but we must have God teach us. A friend of the world is an enemy of God. Love not the world neither the things in it, whoever loves the world does not have the love of the Father in them. Come to Jesus before it is too late. Repent of your sins and receive the gift of the Holy Spirit which comes with power. You shall cast out demons, heal the sick, speak with new tongues, prophecy, work miracles and much more.

Become a Catholic Christian; they are the first original Christians. They don't alter anything in the Bible. They give you the most bible books; they don't make excuses, nor compromise to make life to our liking. Catholics aim to be as true as possible to the original teachings of the Gospel. The public rituals are beautiful as practice; reminders of the history of Jesus. The Catholic Church has done amassing work all over the world for those who are weak, poor and needy. No other Church compares.

I want to be Catholic but I have no idea where to start. For protestants it is so easy. You walk into a church and talk to any person there and by the time you leave that day you're a christian. In a week or two you're baptized and you try your best to live your life for Christ by serving his people. I called the local Catholic church and was told I'll have to meet with the priest of another church and did I want to make an appointment? That was a head scratcher...when I need to talk to a priest will I need to schedule my problems? I'm already in a church where the pastor never has time or can't be bothered and getting pushed off onto people I don't know to discuss sometimes very sensitive concerns. I feel so disconnected 😔

And now, even with a great deal of enthusiasm, I am looking forward to beginning a new spiritual journey. Until then, though, I am experiencing a sense of helpless drifting. How do I connect with this rich faith community without yet belonging to it. I AM GOING TO sign up for RCIA. A few problems have been reconciled that would prevent me from the enthusiasm over this experience. But, if it is God's will, all my concerns will be laid to rest I firmly believe. Blessings to all!

I am a life-long Protestant who is very active in church, and I have been on a few mission trips to other nations. I started asking questions about a year or so ago after attending a ministry class on Church History. I began earnestly searching out the Catholic faith. This past year I was compelled to retire early, sell my house, and all my posessions and move to a South American country where I am now living. As you may know, Latin America is predominately Catholic. I began attending an English Mass here in town at one of the beautiful 16th century cathedrals. I know this is no chance happening. God is working in my life and leading me home.

The Catholic Church recognizes that you are already part of the Christian community and recognizes the dignity and sacramental reality of the Baptism you have already received. That grace is already part of you each and every day and it can’t be repeated. If you do decide to become Catholic, you will received into the Church and participate in the Sacraments of Confirmation and Eucharist. That will initiate you fully into the Catholic Church. Hey, Confirmation is what really makes you a 100% par of the church. I was baptized in 2017 and confirmed in 2018, and I totally felt the Holy Spirit in that celebration, not so much in baptism. In fact, after I was confirmed my life changed in such a good way, I confirmed my baptism and a lot of battles I was struggling with were not there anymore. It was incredible. Confession twice a month and Holy Mass three times a week has made miracles as well. And since two weeks I've been praying the rosary everyday and my life cannot be more happier, everything goes well, and if something doesn't my soul stays in peace. So baptism is not the most important thing, it is the beginning and the base, but all the sacraments are.

RCIA is a mistake though, you have to be worked with on your own, not with a group of people. I prefer the book method where they give you a book and you are to read and study it and then if you have that true belief, become Catholic, I did that not too long ago and now I am soon to be a Catholic. It can be as quick or as slow as you want. You can spend years on it or a week depending on you. Everything needs to be decided by you and a Priest, not by a layman.

Even a Christian cannot brush aside the worship of Jehovah as God. In Revelation 1:5 the Son of God called himself "Jesus Christ, 'The Faithful Witness.'" When on earth as a man he was a Jew, an Israelite, to whose nation the words of Isaiah 43:10 were written: "'You are my witnesses, 'is the utterance of Jehovah, 'even my servant whom I have chosen.'" Jesus demonstrated that he was a faithful and true witness of Jehovah God. His genuine disciples today must be the same kind of witnesses, Jehovah's.

Im pagan but catholicism has always intrigued me. I grew up Pentecostal and Baptist and hated it so much so I converted to paganism and love it. I find Catholicism quite similar in a lot of ways to paganism, most likely because of how many aspects of paganism were transformed into Christian beliefs to help covert pagans seamlessly. Especially Irish Catholics. Interesting.

That's great, but the " many aspects of paganism ... transformed into Christian beliefs.." were not done to "help covert pagans seamlessly ..." - however that is an interesting insight taught by some I'd categorize as pseudo - scholars who are not experts in Catholicism or Church history. For some GREAT scholarship on this topic read Luke Timothy Johnson's book "Among the Gentiles: Greco-Roman Religion and Christianity (2009)". It covers First and Early centuries Christianity. This book explains your thought at a very high level of scholarship with a great set of footnotes - very well documented study. I'm sure you know Greco-Roman religion is the "original" Paganism.

NovaEir I was raised Catholic as well until I discovered it was satanic at its core.

Saints and sinners we are either in Christ or in Adams family.,believers or unbelievers You are either a saint or you ain’t.Settle this right now and call out to Jesus with all your heart, then get baptized and filled with the Holy Spirit of Grace.
