But yes, would love a diagram & description of the Pepwave setup, with WiFi & 4G/5G angennas, failover, starlink connection, etc.

Your changes and improvements to the yacht's systems and layout make a lot of sense. With today's high output alternators/regulators, solar panels and big LiFePO4 battery banks, who needs a separate generator? I also love the air handling system, brilliant.

Great video. I was lucky to be able to have a great boat when I was young and did a couple of circumnavigations 15:05 over 14 years. Now I’m older and high and dry on Land. So watching your videos is really great and reminds me of the old days. Different technologies now but still the same idea. Thank you very much for a wonderful video. I really enjoyed it.

I’d definitely be interested in the pepwave (+starlink) set up with choice of antennas and their position on the boat. Great channel!

Nice work guys! Too bad we’re up in the Seattle area 😢 We’re interested in doing what you did with the magnetic latches on the panels on our Leopard 45… do you have links to the parts you used for that?

This leopard series has been great content. Curious about how the bespoke approach to a new “plain” leopard costs compare to what leopard would charge extra for a less capable upgrade from the factory/dealer.

Ryan here, I think people are finding it better to order the boat with less, and let a highly qualified outfitter really get at it, with the care projects like this need. I find you end up with more *vastly superior* systems for some approximation of what the factory wants. It seems Leopard would rather crank the hulls out vs. deal with too much additional 3rd party equipment.

Just watched a Video today from ‘Travel Sketch’ regarding issues with the fibreglass on their recently purchased new Leopard Catamaran. They experienced bubbling on various parts of their boat, mainly on the Hull requiring significant repairs. On looking round the boatyard where their boat was on the hard land there was 2 other fairly recent Leopards, these other boats were apparently from same factory and within recent boat hull numbers to their own boat and doing a visual inspection on those boats they found similar issues in same areas as to their own boat. Does this mean Leopard have an issue on their build process if just 3 boats within 100 boat hull numbers have the same issue ( dry fibreglass) in the same area of the hull. Certainly worth checking the video which was just released on U Tube today.

I also watched 'Travel Sketch' for a while. I gave it up. At some point I realized that there are people who just always want to play the role of victim. If you buy a production boat you can't expect to get a vanHeesen yacht delivered for free. Nobody is stopping you from buying a Balance, Kinetic or whatever. But if you have premium demands, you also have to pay premium prices. Case closed

@@Foxhaunter21some customers are never happy and feel the need to attack a business. I think they have unrealistic expectations of a production boat.
