How Dendrochronology Disproves Noah's Flood
This is part of a series of videos explaining how different fields of study refute the Noachian deluge. This 4th episode references the "It's OK to Be Smart" channel.

They featured the book, The Oldest Living Things in the World by Rachel Sussman. Her work is included here also.

Once again, I should thank paleontologist, "PaleoClipper" who contributed a significant portion to the script of this video.

My seven-year-old son was the one who absolutely convinced me that Noah is a fable. He got kicked out of his Sunday School class because the teacher couldn't refute his arguments and the other children agreed with my son. Yes, the First Baptist Church banned my seven-year-old son from attending their sunday school for making too much sense! The last straw for me was when his christian public school teacher told me not to allow him to see the new Star Wars movie because it was "too empowering for children" (back then, it was the one where Anakin Skywalker is a precocious child). Of course I took him to see that movie, immediately! Same teacher told me not to let him read sci-fi books. I could not be prouder of the fact my seven-year-old was reading Robert Heinlein and Star Trek novels, so I bought him more books.
How common sense disproves the noahs flood
I think the bristlecone pine survived the flood by using a snorkel. A heroic effort, to be sure.
I would actually say that Noah's flood is MORE silly than the story about storks delivering babies, because we at least know with certainty that storks and babies both exist.
The biggest problem with this video is that, although all the words were English, most creationists probably don't know what they mean, so, therefore, gawd did it.
Aron Ra completely empties out the Flood Myth. It is beautifully destroyed. I can’t believe I used to believe it. Thank you Aron-You should be given an honorary doctorate.
Don't diminish the sacrifice of Noah! He carried every pathogen and parasite in existence in his body so that they wouldn't die out. That must have been a VERY uncomfortable boat ride.
It's fascinating that the Egyptian "old kingdom" lumbered on happily oblivious to the universal deluge happening around them while constructing monuments using limestones that were only just then being deposited as limey sediments.
Yeah, two words that killed that story: plants drown.
Bravo! The amount of information condensed into 17 minutes is enormous. You are to be applauded for this endevour.
Who are those people on the ark waving gleefully to? The ones left behind who are going to be drowned?
Scientifically and personally speaking for myself, I admire and respect you AronRa. You make sense in a complex yet easily understandable way that confounds the ignorant but upholds truth. Thank you for sharing your brilliance in these increasing difficult times! Your friend......
I'm atheist and my children have to figure it out for themselves, I will argue with them if they come to me with religious crap but I think it's something everyone has to explore. So I keep watching informative videos like this so I have answers for them. Thank you aron ra!
Love the new suits Aron.
Actually, I used to believe rainbows were proof of noah's ark and the global flood.
Aron was one of pivotal individuals helping me to see religion for what it is - genuine, but very rudimentary and oftentimes outright delusional attempt of humankind to understand how this world actually works.
Damn, that animated movie at the end credits was trippy. Nice job on the part of the animators, it really makes the even look like the fairy tale it is.
9am? that's fucking specific
Being an expert on creation is ,like being an expert on tooth fairies.
It boggles my mind that here we are in 2019 and masses of people still believe in Noahs Arc . Thankfully there are people like Aaron who has the patience to deal with these ding dongs , I sure dont .
