I'm Japanese, and today's topic is quite interesting. In terms of crying, it seems that Japanese and Brits have a similar tendency. I'd like to avoid crying in front of people as much as possible.

I totally agree with that video. People of each country express their feelings differently. I've heard that people In Russia hide their emotions when bad accident happen. However men did that. In my point of view expressing emotions depend on individual people too

Similarly, in the UK, many British people are not encouraged to express their sadness, and men often feel pressure to maintain a stiff upper lip and repress their emotions. It's important to remember that hiding your true feelings won't make you happy. Instead, try making new friends and learning new things to help you feel better. Many thanks for this video. Have a great weekend.

Amazing list! I'm sure you're helping a lot of people ⭐
There are so many expressions for the feeling sadness nowadays. The earliest way of describing the sad feeling is the phrase fed up. It is also important to notice that each culture in certain periods have distinctive ways to show sadness. In Victorian time, the British was to be the conquerer so they had to keep the stiff upper lip or in other words put up a brave front. However, this is an unhealthy pratice as it hinders emotion expressions, which later make someone feel repressed.
