How Conflict Inspires Noga Erez's Chaotic Sound

Noga Erez is an Israeli electronic music producer, singer, songwriter and DJ. Her powerful, chaotic sound is a mashup of hip-hop, pop and techno. Growing up in Israel has had a major influence on her lyrics. Her experiences living in a conflict zone fuel her criticism of politicians and contemporary society. As she gains worldwide recognition, Erez has come to form an integral part of the female-dominated Israeli EDM scene.

im from israel and i dont blame people not understanding that the conflict is real and because we live in such a small and condensed country, everybodys apart of it. For example in America if a shooting happens in texas, lets say, it wont have as much as an impact on somebody living in maine. my point being that even if the opression is very miniscule to others, we are effected by it.

fishi i Yeah well, Israël is just stolen Land over so many dead bodies and destroyed lives and it will always be that even if so much money is spent on making people think it is something else. It's just facts. New generations are maybe not that dumb and as easily manipulated. The brave take Time to dig and face fear just to know the truth even if it is complicated.

Israel was "stolen" by the Romans, and the jews were evicted. The Arabs conquered and "stole" the middle east and north Africa. You sit on a land that was stolen too.

Think about that: another Diaspora! Israel will buy Guyana, Surinam or French Guiana for exodus. In those countrys the population density is 3/sqkm (Israel 392). What would you think after the exodus of Israel: will there peace in palestina? I doubt it. But in Surinam: Yes. Will there be a benefit for the surinamis? Yes! Ah, you can leave the haredim down there.....

I didn't even hear her say anything about Israel. All I heard was her talking like a feminist. Saying women this and women that. Either way... I disliked it.
