Jimin has the best proprioception I've seen in any human being in my 74 years of life. One of the reasons I love to watch Jimin is seeing how he is looking at the world outside him, and placing himself in it. He always knows how he is oriented on the earth. That's how he can dance, including pirouette, and jump, blindfolded. In part this comes from his Taekwondo and Kendo training. But in large part, I believe he was born with it. He cultivates it continuously. This is why he is so physically playful, and why he acts like a clown sometimes. He is exploring the physical universe and how his body moves within it. There is a ballet dancer, Ericka Goss, who is a longtime Army and does reactions and breakdowns, sometimes. She points out that Jimin does not always spot when he turns. Because he kind of doesn't need to. As much as I love j-hope, it is this side-by-side work that is why I maintain that Jimin is the best dancer in BTS. He's doing the same routine as j-hope, in a blindfold.

I believe the scene between V and Jin reproduces the one in the music video where V covers Jin's eyes and when Jin opens them again he sees the statue of Abraxas. Your interpretation is spot on as per its meaning

Well it is such a good interpretation but it might not be the actual intended meaning in the MV because suga was originally supposed to do that but for some reason it was just not working out (personallyi think it’s the height difference) so they brought V in instead

@@norminamangoda8638 I’m just saying that based on the behind the scenes making of the MV, suga was originally supposed to cover jins eyes. But after several failed attempts they replaced him with V because for some reason suga looked goofy doing it. You can see this in their bangtan bomb on this. And it just so happened that this change actually fits the interpretation/narrative better. I’m in no way saying that the BU is not interconnected.

I love how casually Jimin is walking after the Boy meets Evil performance. You can observe the same with Hobi after his solo dance performance of Boy meets Evil 😂 Apparently all of them have insane stamina I really want to see them live! 😊

At that time BTS is still being treated like an underdog group. BTS was not a last perfomer. But this comeback made them so popular. And on that they ...they got their 1st "Artist of the year award" (grand prize) and haters (another groups'fans) attaked them so muchhh ...it was a really tough time.

BTS is the most sincere performer I have ever seen.. The amount of effort they put in their performances always make me feel so lucky as a fan.. Even if I'm not a fan, i would still amaze by their effort💜💜

We all literally screamed when we were watching MAMA 2016 live and after the award show ended literally everyone was talking about Taejin , even Non-BTS fans..that part is LeJINdary haha..

Huh thank youuu I have been requesting this since forever! Bts are such incredible performers and jhope × Jimin duo was just *chefs kiss*. Also I can't with the talent Jimin has- He surely is the king of kpop.

You may want to watch the Bangtan Bomb of this on your own at some point because they have what I consider MUCH BETTER camerawork for the opening with Hobi & Jimin.

I agree. The camera missed some of Hobi's dance when it was moving. I get the why of it moving, but still. with the bangtan bomb, you get it all. So deff worth to watch after the official one =)

Jimin is the king of acting, this is what made him the King of the industry, the King of kpop he always goes beyond what was imagined, his energy is incredible and his voice is crazy. He wrote the melody for BSandT, again he was chosen for the 3rd consecutive year as the best male dancer.

I love watching you review the boys' performances. Like you I've been following BTS for less than a year and finding it so much fun. Jin and V together is so touching. I was hoping that V would give that cheeky smirk over his shoulder. He didn't but what followed was even better. When V first had the scars of his wings put on his back the boys were talking about how cool his back looked but naughty Jimin, looking in a certain direction, said it wasn't his back they should be looking at! It's great to see other idols in the audience also joining in. Of course, Fire, is iconic for SUGA saying, Bultaoreune. I'm sure that's one Korean word we all know

2016 was a very hard, awful year for BTS and Army. The boys went all out. All or nothing! Boom!! 💣 🔥

First of all I want to say I love your earrings. Then, when you decided to finish watching this I yelled yes! I was watching K drama almost 4 years ago, came across this award show decided to watch it. This is the first performance I ever saw by BTS and I was hooked. Especially, Fire! V & Jin, yes seductive, the tempter Seducting the tempter and V is very good at it.

At the beginning of the stage, JK was hanged . how brave of him.

I read somewhere that it was incredibly uncomfortable to hang like that and not move the whole time. Apparently the postion put a lot a pressure on his shoulderblades and back.

Every time i see this performance i just have to finish myself off with their artist of the year win and speech 😭😭😭

This was not the last performance of the night. I wanted to know what it was like to have to perform after this, so I watched all 4 (more?) hours of this show to get a feel for it. EXO, a huge group with very popular songs and an enormous number of fans in the audience went on after them and people enjoyed them but the audience was clearly somewhat spent after BTS and I felt sorry for them. No one should ever have to go after BTS. They are able to wring every last emotion out of you.

Most (all?) of the performances are on the official Mnet K-POP KZread channel, but I wanted everything so first I found out what order the awards were given and performances shown and then found various videos mostly on YT but also on Vimeo, Daily Motion, Facebook, etc.
