I finally got to the point where I want to leave my hair alone. I was doing wash n go's and constanly had to refresh every three days, plus I was getting a lot of spilt ends and single stranded knots..got a great cut to correct the damage, I now blow dry out, braid it back with a serum, and wear a silk scarf for a week so I can grow my hair back out. My hair feels like it getting healthier each week. Thank you Cyn for your knowledge!

I always had issues with a blow drier. I do use it on 90% dry hair with a brush attachment when i need to stretch my hair for a protective style…but beyond that roller setting and then putting a heated brush on my roots gives me the best result with no heat damage….i def think i have the type of hair that could be “blown out” well without a flat iron…but i haven’t mastered it, i don’t think it’s my ministry.

Listening to you, I got my routine down. I week curly, using cream leave in, curl gel, diffuse dry, and maybe a little oil on the ends. 2 weeks straight but only flat iron one, which is a spray leave in, heat protectant, same with flat iron but I or my hair likes it better when I use a little oil, my hair is thicker, and longer than in a long time. Love you💞

I have no idea how KZread knew I needed your videos but, I needed your videos! I’ve been natural since 2009 and my hair has reached a little below bra strap length and been stuck for a little while there. I used to watch long hair don’t care, and always knew there was some sort of science around blow dried hair. I’ve seen heat trained naturals with longer hair than the curly naturals. I also watched one of your videos and realize that my breakage along the middle of my head is because I wear a lot of low buns and because I exercise daily, I was concerned about using blow dryer but, I’ll just use it every day to make sure that my hair isn’t wet the entire day because I sweated. Thank you so much for sharing the information and I also joined your seven day challenge group too.😊

Thank you! I have been heat training my hair for a while and I’ve been able to start just using the round brush blow dryer (no flat iron). But now I think I need to change tools because I don’t need as much heat as the revlon gives. The Revlon Round Brush Dryer doesn’t have a middle ground (either it is really hot and blowing fast or it’s gives a lower speed and temp). All of that to ask, do you have any recommendations for round brush dryers that won’t blow the bank, but will give good enough airflow and temp for curly hair? PS I’m not good with the round brush and blow dryer separation.

Hey love easy fix! After you put in your leave in conditioner part your hair on four sections and put on a plastic processing cap in the sections your not blow drying so they stay wet until you get to the section. Hair can’t dry if it’s still wet under the cap. Move as fast as you can so your hair isn’t wet too long but it’s a easy fix sis your not doing anything wrong.

Love it sis!! You absolutely blew my mind when you said that women of a certain ethnicity blow dry their hair daily and they’re able to maintain their length, density, and fullness!! I have been blow drying my hair for about 5 months now and it helps soooo much! Before then, I struggled with SSK. I no longer spray my hair after my mini braids are installed, I steam them now. It seems as if whenever I do spray with water, the SSK are PLENTIFUL and have set me back tremendously! Since steaming my hair and doing the LCO method, it’s drastically reduced the amount of SSK. Still get them though. Also, THANK YOU for teaching us about blow drying. I was saving up to the RevAir dryer, but now, I’m gonna purchase the one you have. Thank you again!! 🫶🏾
