You can put a few rollers back in at night or wrap your hair.
Soo.... getting a relaxer is better for your hair than doing twists? Make it make sense. I grew 24 inches of healthy hair doing twists and I'll keep doing them until this so called "damage" shows up. Try telling indigenous strands that twists are damaging her hair more than relaxers 😂

Thank you for this information. Recently started following your channel and noticed a huge difference in my scalp. It has not been itchy or inflamed after following different hair care steps and drinking dandelion tea (which really, helped). I have been doing twist out due to uneven length and easy maintenance because of poor hair care in the past, my hair is it uneven. Do you think perm rods would still be ok, with different sizes?

Because, NEVER, have you ever said that you are a “natural hair influencer”, “natural hair specialist, or even a “curly hair specialist”. In this world, it is so easy for people to follow along with people who will tell you things that are benefitting them the most and truly not their viewers at all. You promote tried and true, scientifically back, results oriented products that are designed to most effectively promote and main a healthy hair and scalp environment that truly allows for one to see their hair grow to it’s maximum potential, along with tons of healthy hair styling techniques as well, that individuals with all different hai types, hair textures, hair porosities, and most importantly people of all races can greatly benefit from. I know a black girl that uses Pantene shampoo and conditioner (not the team natural one) heat protection and flat irons every two weeks no oil no nothing else hair to her butt thick and healthy. My aunt hair to her butt roller set every 2 weeks thats all both of them do no extra products nothing! I hope more people listen to you before its too late for them hair is so simple!!!

The one team natural rule that I could never get with is the "air drying". I tried it long time ago, and it literally took my hair almost 4 days to dry. That is ridiculous! It also made me realize that some of the team natural KZreadrs had to be lying when they would say that their hair dried overnight. Never again! It's roller sets or blow drying for me. My favorite is the roller set. Keep up the good work.

the attitude I got at a salonist when I said I don't think I'll need a steamer (I was asking for walk in apt so she hasnt seen my hair) and she respond that as a black women I need to use steamers.... I've got to other salons and I've had my hair grow with out doing so much, just good wash, condition and trim. Any of the new things that has been tried ended up in hair lose. I'm still trying to find a good salon since I've moved and my last stylist moved (and the business closed).

wow, old video... but wow. I'll be honest, I've only trusted 2 stylest to put relaxer, other wise, it was only by my mother and we do it as quick as possible. It reminds me of people burning their skin with facial acids for too long or too often or layering it on bad skin.
