How bags and backpacks are made Episode01 "Design & Sampling"
How to make a backpack? How are bags made? How are backpacks manufactured? How to design bags? These are questions that I have asked myself a lot, but in this new series I was invited to a bag factory to see first hand how bags are being made.

FULL DISCLOSURE:
This video is not sponsored nor did I receive any money. While I sometimes get bags for free, I have to pay custom fees, shipping fees and all my videos have lots of production costs (e.g. software and musicrights). Therefore I invest my own money into all of these videos and I have no intention to be biased towards a product or company. All opinions in this video are my own unless stated otherwise.
HOW I REVIEW:
As you might know from my „How I make a buying decision“ video: Rather than just looking at the pros, I like to evaluate the cons or flaws of an item and then evaluate if I can live with them. That is why in my video reviews I concentrate more on the cons of an item rather than going over all the features. Therefore everything shown is just a fraction of all the points that go into the verdict and score of an item.
DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A QUICKLOOK AND A REVIEW:
A Quicklook usually covers pre-production units or items that I only used for a short period of time. While Reviews cover final items that I have reviewed intensively.
LINKS:
For all my videos I decided not to include links for the products. Everyone is living in different countries and therefore has to deal with different shipping and customs fees. That is why I would advice everyone just to Google the product within their country to find the best deals.
For instance: I live in Germany, It wouldn’t make sense to give you a German link while you might be living in USA or Asia. I hope that is understandable.

This is an excellent video! Very useful for design students and new designers who have never traveled to an overseas factory before. Very thorough and informative!

Hey, i need the manufaturar details. can u please provide.
This is absolutely fascinating! Thank you so much for this documentation. Maybe it could also be called "Bo Ismono in Bag Heaven". ;) I am always interested how bags are made, as I somehow got into backpack customization. No matter how many reviews I watch, I still have not found the perfect backpack. So I bought an affordable one on amazon with some features I liked and now I am adding some feature I want. Sure I know a thing or two about sewing and leatherworks, but I am always eager to learn new things.

@@Youknowthebo When I am finished, I will try to make a video. However, I think it might turn out quite bad, as I am by no means an expert at filming or speaking. Maybe it might be a good idea if I made something like a script...Sadly, I only have a phone camera. But at least I can put this onto a tripod. Well, we shall see how it turns out. If this should fail miseraly, maybe I can do a slideshow and a voiceover. But be prepared, I steal elements from several companies. Anyways, looking forward to more content from you! Maybe I can collect even more ideas?
