U literally explained the possible endings perfectly and disproved all the aot fan base stupid theories and debates on the wrong things. I think your use of the word "fans" is wrong, the group of people theorizing completely impossible endings and misconstruing foreshadowing just to fit their ridiculous "theories" are not "fans" they're more like vultures that like to fight everyone who disagrees with them. And I'm sure after AOT ends they're just going to move on to a new anime community they can make into a toxic cesspool.

Theory about the ending : This theory is about why I think Historia is going to give birth to Ymir Fritz. I think Ymir Fritz was looking for the titan shifter(Eren Yeager) for 2000 years who would let her be reborn free ( Final panel shows a man saying You're free to a baby) , and for this she had to die first (from the spear) and go to the Paths realm. There is a high probability that the curse of Ymir will be undone by the end of the series, otherwise it doesn't makes much of a conclusion. And the way it gets undone is Ymir will be free from the paths realm, and I think that should take away the titan powers from Eldians for good (or Eren might assume her role in the paths and choose not to create any titans for any future inheritors) Also, in writing there's a literary device called the Checkhov's gun, which means that if a story introduces a power/weapon it's going to, sooner or later , play an important part in the story. In this case the Checkhov's gun is the transfer of titan power from a shifter dying without passing it, to a newly born eldian baby which has been mentioned before, but we have never seen it happen(think of how it was mentioned that flying titan existed in past but no one had seen it until Falco transformed) , in this case we know Historia was in labor during the rumbling, and Zeke just died without passing his titan. Also, thematically, think of it, it makes perfect sense, for Historia to name her child Ymir, after her friend,and Freckled Ymir was named after the original Ymir Fritz. so wouldn't it be poetic if Ymir Fritz is reincarnated and named after Freckled Ymir ?

Wow I really like this theory.

I get why a lot of people don’t like the timeloop theory, but I like it for one way I interpret it. It reflects the unchanging nature of man and how war, conflict, and ignorance is eternal. Wren having to do it all again reflects man’s very nature and history. Only problem with it is it’s a depressing ending that doesn’t have a clear positive message.

Nobody wants a predictable ending. Chapt 137 was pretty boring and then Isayama just slapped me in the face with the godlike writing quality by chapt 138. Isayama is a mad genius, we can even hope for the most depressing ending possible.

The only hope now is the ending, especially when we have the anime, so too much of the boring chapters will be crammed into a few episodes.

There are two halluciegenias, one attached to Eren’s head and the other to his body. In AOT, they require a host to survive. So it tries to reconnect to Eren’s head. His head is still in the Titan and that’s why it’s all bones and no body. Whereas in paradis his head is reforming from his body.

Also, spoiler for chapter 138: The bones crumbled then Eren transformed again, where is the cord? So it reattached from the bones titan to another titan form? How does that even work? Also, when Eren transformed to his new titan form, don't tell me the remaining alliance flying around Eren on falco didn't see a cord miles long just there sticking out? Plot twist: everyone will dance with I like to move it theme from Madagascar.

Now that 138 is out, I’d still believe that Eren is, somewhat crystalized somewhere back on Paradis because he can put his consciousness wherever he wants. But, I’m going to debunk that theory because of a KZreadr called: Always TRYHARD. Tryhard said: “Eren put his current consciousness into his kid self, and his kid self into this current reality.” Basically, Eren just put kid Eren’s consciousness into the mouth of Eren’s Colossal Titan; thus kid Eren waking up and asking why Mikasa’s hair is so long and is crying in Ch. 1. This mf Isayama is a genius. Edit: I forgot to mention where adult Eren’s consciousness goes, but I forgot. Just check out the channel I stated, to see the whole theory. I recommend watching his other vids cuz it makes sense, in the end.

The last panel of attack on titan is eren holding a baby right. I think this is eren holding his and historias baby. I think this baby inherites the beast titan and when eren gets to hold the baby he is sent to the paths and then reactivates the rumbling and after he comes out of the paths he tells the baby “you are free” (and that’s where attack on Titan ends) now I hope at least armin lives to wrap up his character arc something like confronting eren at the farm where historias at and having a last conversation with him and then he witnesses eren holding the baby but ofc he wouldn’t really mind eren holding the baby since he wouldn’t of guessed that historias baby would have the beast and then eren kills everyone outside the walls without armin or historia ever knowing for a long time (since armin thought he stopped the rumbling in chapter 137 by killing zeke) that’s just my theory tho Idk

Now that i think about it I really dont know where its going to go or how Eren is going to reactivate the rumbling if he even wants to, assuming he still alive. I feel like the only right way to end the series is to impact the world of attack on titan in a huge way to stop this endless fighting, and the only way to stop that right now is with the rumbling unless some other huge thing comes into play that I've just overlooked, anyways from what your saying that makes sense that the baby wouldn't have true freedom and that would kinda make what Eren has been fighting for all this time a little underwhelming unless Eren can break the curse of ymir when he does get sent into paths using his baby, but even then i feel like it would be a bit too big of a coincidence that out of every baby born that one gets the beast, for some people that might just not stick right with them.

I might be an outlier but personally think the dream ending could have been pretty awesome if it had been foreshadowed earlier in the series, like for example someone saying wake up without realising what they’re saying before brushing it off like nothing happened

I doubt it but the time loop ending is a really interesting one. Everytime Eren dies during the rumbling he gets sent back in time to when he wakes up in the first ep possibly due to Ymir and/or the Paths. Highly unlikely of course but I like to think about it a lot.

I have a theory, if Eren removes the Titan powers that Humanity will not becomes Titans no more, and become regular Humans, and all the world will sign peace treaty with Eldians and Marlyans. Those who died, Ymir will revive everyone, and peace be restored; Eren be in prison for a while, but got released by Historia, and moves to a cabin in the woods, Eren is married to Mikasa, have a child together, he hold his baby, he'll say, "You are Free." After that Eren woke up as a High School boy, and he tell Mikasa "I just have this strangest dream?" Or "I keep having this dream, over and over again, but different details."

Eren didn't destroy the outside world for revenge. He did it to save Paradis and protect his friends, as well as achieve "freedom". He moved on from the revenge shit long ago, it's not even up for debate lmao.

5:45 that could be referencing that, but my thought has always been that it was foreshadowing for chapter 122. It has ymir shown as this all-powerful god which is how she is seen by the eldians, when in reality she was just a regular girl who was forced to be a slave which eren says almost verbatim in the paths realm. Alternatively (and I find this less compelling and also less likely with how the ed is structured,) it could be a statement on how marley took control of the narrative and turned ymir into someone who made a deal with the devil as shown in the beginning. Either way i think its a direct way to show us that that imagel of ymir is basically cap.
