Bonjour! Thanks for the great video with highly organized information. I totally understand that it is impossible to add every piece of information in a 10 minutes video. But still, I would be very happy if you can share with us why Pouilly-Fuusse could stand out from the other crus in Mâconnais. (Though no premier cru is defined yet in this region.)

whats the difference between Chablis and Puligny? Everyone is saying they are both rich in minerals, so what makes the huge price diff?

Hi Daniel. Puligny is a rather tiny village, acknowledged as possibly being the best area in the world to make the finest Chardonnays. So it's very demanded and scarce. Chablis is much bigger, and it's top Grands Crus are probably not quite as extremely fine and age-worthy as Puligny's... Does this make sense?

@@AltiWineExchange thanks for the reply! though i was asking about the difference in terms of taste and flavor profiles. is it easy to distinguish a chablis from a puligny in a blind tasting? i have tasted both before and each is almost equally high minerally. maybe the puligny is more floral while chablis is sharper? based on 1er crus i had.

@@danielwa4819 In my experience, Puligny is more nutty than Chablis, and Chablis is sharper.
