Before I became an airline pilot, I'd always heard about how pilots have the opportunity to make a good bit of extra money by "picking up" extra trips on the side. While every airline has a different process and set of policies, I hope this gives you a good overview of what you can expect. Swayne Martin You should approach head office about doing promotional videos or tv ads for Envoy. They must be proud to have you onboard cuz we are! 😆😊☺

@@mattapplin5677 In order to be competitive at the largest carriers you will need a 4 year degree. Very few get hired without it. At the smaller carriers it may not be as critical.

That is exactly the point. Every video has a message that it’s produced in partnership with the airline. Swayne has also said that he’s doing these videos to help people understand the job to assist with the Pilot shortage that was around before COVID (and will come back after COVID).

Another great video, Swayne! You do a great job explaining all these systems and processes. And the videography is outstanding, as usual. It is so great that Envoy partners with you to produce these videos. It gives great insight into being an airline pilot. I assume there is a limited number of hours you are allowed to fly each month?

You'll love it in America if you come to a good city. Some places I reccomend are Nashville, phoenix, dallas, or anywhere in new england. I used to be in europe and then came here to the us.

Hey Swayne, I think I saw you at MMAS (Aguascalientes International Airport Jesus Teran) today February 20th . I fly the Emb 145 as well, I'm in my 30th leg of training, beautiful airplane, have good flights partner!!

Swayne, I just want to say how much I enjoy your videos. I’m a pilot myself although after flying in the military I wound up not going with the airlines and fly for pleasure instead. However, I enjoy living vicariously through your videos. You’re a fantastic ambassador for commercial aviation so keep up the good work. Now...if I could only find a part time flying job that would let me fly periodically without having to give up my business, that would be ideal. Have any ideas?

Swayne, you're a very impressive young man! Your drive and passion is very evident in your videos. I do hope Envoy realizes what a true "workhorse" they have hired! I'm 41 years old chasing the commercial pilot dream. I'm scheduled for my ASEL check ride on the 9th of Feb, and then pressing on through instrument and up! Thanks for the inspiration.
