Gadiyon ki life insan ki life jitni hi hoti hai bas govt ese rules bana kar zabardasti humari cars ko reject/scrap bol rahi😢

Govt should also consider making companies manufacture spares etc so that if one wants to keep his/her old vehicle he can do so, and that too in a great condition as many people have sentimental value with their vehicles.

Nahin... Govt to chahiye log paise dekar nayi gadi karide, aur woh baithe ke 30 se 55% GST, registration, road tax, cess laga ke logon ke paise churaye... Chahe duniye mein 50 se jyada studies mein kaha Gaya ho ki 15 saal purani ko scrap karne ke bajaye, naye gaadi ko banane mein pollution hota hai... Bhai 5 trillion economy so banana hai.. fasttag,green cess, petrol pe tax, aur spare parts pe 35% GST , labour pe GST, gaadi ke loan pe interest, bahut achi scheme hai bhai..

Delhi mein Jabardasti uthaake ley rahein hein RTO wale ne. Baaki sheheron mein filhaal ke liye nahin., future mein pata nahin kya steps lenge RTO wale ne.

Hey there, As per the guidelines, a vehicle is considered fit for 15 years only. Once the vehicle crosses 15 years, fitness test needs to be done periodically and if the vehicle fails to pass the fitness test. It has to be scrapped. Generation of Certification of Deposit happens through Vahan portal only and hence no need of submitting COD anywhere.

How can we find this type of company in Maharashtra. Is there any website for this?

When will Mumbai have a certified scrap centre?

Do car24 accept this certificate and give discount??

Hey Ankit, The Car Scrap value (Money) is separate from Certificate of Deposit which has monetary benefit on discount on RTO while purchasing the new vehicle. If no intent on buying a new vehicle, then COD is a tradeable digital asset that could fetch money.

Scrapping policy ek scam hein RTO aur automobile companies ke beech. Taaki companies ko paale aur GDP bhade India ki. Ghatia idea. Asal mein purani gaadi aur pollution ka koyi lena dena nahin. Pollution karnewali vehicles ko scrap ke liye bejna chahiye.

Bhai muze saval mene jb Google kiya scrap policy in India to usme likha aaya ki aapka rto waived kr diya jayega or 4-6 % discount milega new car lene pe is it right or wrong pls ans me🙏

There should be engine replacement policy instead of scraping whole vehicle that too at very less compensation ...some users have very less usage n run of their cars n thus entire car is not required for scrapping.

I think in India there should be a one number plate for every civilian issued by central government like bh plates so car can be easy to transfer in other states and can be collected as vintage and state registration should be banned

Bhai tum scrap policy ke baare mein aise bol rahe ho jaise tumhe pata hi nahi purani gaadiyon ke emotions. Its not just a car, its a family member for us many car enthusiasts...

Hey Piyush, In an ideal case scenario, For Delhi/NCR: Petrol>15 years and Diesel>10 years should be scrapped but exceptionally any car can get scrapped basis RC owner consent and can the COD basis scrapping that car.

Best rules would be to make scrapping compulsory for vehicles older than 15 years, but if someone wishes to keep thier vehicle he should pay 10,000 rs year...this way only cars which are not worth keeping will only get scrapped and enthusiast cars will not get scrapped

Shitty process of govt, mostly private cars 10-15 years complete krne pr bhi low running hi rehti h (under 1 lakh) jo ki bilkul fit and non polluting hoti h, still govt isko scrap krne ko bolti h, taaki normal consumer apni hard earned money se new car purchase kre or companies and govt profit generate kr ske. Instead of this govt can ask manufacturers to change engines of these old cars at company authorised service centres and then can sent these cars for fitness test and then owner can use the same car by paying a normal amount of engine change

In America once can drive a car / commercial vehicle as long as they wish and the road fitness is met . India being a developing nation why such scrapping policies are shoved down our throat, In us 60 years old commercial Kenworth 2 stroke diesel trucks ply in ample number whereas in India it would have been scrapped decades ago. Plant trees scrapping perfectly road fit motorcycle, car or trucks is harmful for the environment. This weird rule should be abolished, if road fitness is met they should allowed to. Its a trick and incentives for companies to produce and get people shifted to new vehicles without any reason.

100000km is nothing at all (still a new car) so it shouldnt be scrapped, cars in the US and other countries they do 100000 - 200000 miles which is about 160000- 350000km.

I did 1 lakh kms in 5 years bro.. And now my car has run 2.5Lakh kms in 10 years...but my car is clean and as good as new... No rattles even after so much use.. 25 years seems justified though

America jaise deso main bhi aap gari ko life time chala sakte ho..lakin jab 1gari world ko polluted karta hai bohot jadya tab usko scrapped karte hai...Aur yaha India pe 15 saal baad gari ko scrabe karwana mendatory hai....yeh govt bas private car company se car sell k upar deal ki hua hai...k aapka car hum sell karwa dekhge aap bas profit share karna...USA ki govt public k bare main sochta hai...aur yaha Indian govt bas public se leke apke party ka fund bharte hai openly aur kuch nhi
