How a bite into a dragon fruit got me sold into farming this highly sought nutrient rich fruit!
Ойын-сауық
When filming this story I thought to myself, why are we so thrilled about technology and I still can’t download food?#FieldMusings ! The closest I can get is drooling over videos & pictures, but learning how to grow food that promises to be a reason for the longevity of oriental people, and having it thrive in our soils, that’s the closest I can get to being thrilled by technology! Meet Anthony, he has mastered growing the dragon fruit and is working towards making it one of Kenya’s leading cash crops. Other than it’s health benefits, the returns will make you download that castle you have been building from the air to actually living in one!

Hi Mr. Mugambi. I'm a South Africa and must admit that from sometime now I've been very much impressed by Kenyans, a specially in the field of agriculture. You seem to be doing well both academically and practically in this field and you make proud as an African. Keep it up.

It's interesting that you say that I have the very same opinion of brothers and sisters from South Afrika, but yes Kenyans are also the real deal. As a brother from the Americas I am proud of the great strides that my brothers and sisters on the continent are making. We are paying attention to you all. Love from the West.

I'm an African American living in Ecuador. I'm not only enjoying the yellow variety of dragon fruit but also collecting seeds so I can introduce the fruit in Zambia. I had no idea that a brother from Kenya is already practicing growing the fruit. But I agree with you that the yellow variety is the best. However, congratulation are due to brother Mugambi for introducing the fruit to Kenya.
