I started dragon fruit farming with my husband, we are now making millions | Lynn Ngugi Network
The best thing you can do in life is take risks and that’s exactly what Priscilla and her husband did. They decided to start farming dragon fruits even after being told they could not do well in Kenya or Africa.
During their first harvest, they sold a piece for Ksh.1000 and they are so glad they invested in one of the most expensive fruit in the world
On this episode of Inspire Global, Lynn Ngugi walks us through their venture , the farm and the cost of farming this fruit

For cooking oil, canola is not good. Instead, make cold pressed avocado oil, ghee and butter from your farm. You can do some research about this ie healthy oils and fats that don't cause inflammation in the body. Also read on why processed seed oils aren't good. All the best.

This is what I admire about our children who are ready to take a risk with global knowledge and innovation. Well done!
Incase she may pass through the comments, I would advice that instead of going back to school, she can take trips to places where these crops are done or countries that are generally good in Agriculture and learn more from there.
I've met this girl. She is a rare gem. I'm a dragon farmer after listening to her talk about farming severally.

INSPIRE GLOBAL is the BEST thing that has happened to those with BRAINS.❤❤
My grandfather was a fruit farmer, we had sweet bananas, lemons, tangerines, oranges, pawpaw and many more but it's like non of his kids was interested in farming the likes of my dad but after the death of my grandfather everything died with him nobody took care of those farms, I'd love to be a farmer too.

Wow 😮 as a farmer, I am so proud of these African amazing farmers. I love the fact that they went for live mulching. It’s super conventional.
I love the passion and brilliance exhibited by this wonderful girl. Learning a lot from her.

Such an inspiration! Am planning to become a farmer in the near future..
Ati university, you have your own university there. We need to change our thinking. Getting a paper from an institution is just that. All she needs is to maybe target specific areas of interest and take online classes to get the knowledge then implement it on your farm. CHANGING OUR MINDSET ONE PERSON AT A TIME. GREAT JOB.

Well how about that? Great to pursue that fruit, for many reasons.1) This is an above ground fruit, (2) making it non-labor intensive, (3) re sale: price is great .Wonderful decision. Too many farmers invest too time and money, in under earth crops", and above ground crops, which are too labor intensive. Imagine the anti-toxins. Great is their reward. Note the prepared project (bore hole water area,) ensuring that the land has the needed water, to keep the plants, alive and her agricultural products, constantly available. Smart woman. We must always understand education is the key to success, period. How absolutely admirable! Go, go lady.
I have eaten this Fruit once in a hotel,we were received with so many fruits most of them never seen before? We loved it the most.

It's very inspiring. Watching from Belize. Central America. Thanks for sharing.
Great to see a determined individual going against the odds. Too many farmers dwell on under grown crops. This fruit is (1) above ground, (2) non-labor intensive and (3) has a fantastic profit margin, (4) yield from seedlings-fruition, is only one year. Interesting, and extremely, she has a needed water project, in situ. (5) Nutritious value-anti-aging. He is ensuring self sufficiency, provding her own manure via her goats. Key to her business, anyone period, is being educated. Most of all she is well motivated, by her passion for agriculture. Congrats!!
Am so inspired by the story.. This girl is full of passion
Loved this episode, looking forward to plant all those fruits in my space, will look for her for the seedlings.
