Playing with Justin Hall in highschool was one of my core memories!!! 11 forever moving them stixx!!!

The Roughnecks lost another close game. They need help on the offensive line and offense in general. Running game is decent thanks to Mark Thompson but thats it.

Stallions found another MVP level QB after their MVP went to the NFL. The refs were starting to give me NFL ref vibes with the way they werent calling holding on the Roughnecks. Good game though.

If I'm the UFL I would have local drafts to help bring out fans of players already native to those same areas that players played in....think of it as more in depth supplemental draft ....

Or perhaps something the NHL did many years ago -- have about a 50 mile radius from the stadium where that team has EXCLUSIVE rights to sign players in that area? (It's why Montreal and Toronto dominated the NHL Do that AFTER the draft.

I think the old USFL did this where there were assigned territorial schools they could also sign players from.

I personally think it’s a credit to Birmingham to win against a team with nothing to lose, who were playing like it was their super bowl.

As a Stallions fan, This a good competitive game, Houston tonight looked like a playoff team after this performance. So Houston Rough necks & Gambler fans shout out and respect for you guys man just outstanding effort.

Highlight reals just keep getting better and better! We went from 10-12 minute reels to 25 minute ones! 🙌🏼 thank you editors. For those of us who don’t get a chance to see all the games live, this is amazing. You’re the real MVPs 🥲

Houston has their best game of the season, second highest scoring team of the weekend, and still looses(another close game). This team is cursed 😂 such a shame, cause they have the best uniforms in the league.

Every time Houston has a chance they absolutely blow it with the dumbest mistakes lol I’m trying to root for the underdogs but man they do not make it easy to root for them lol

Fair enough, but they played well overall this game. They were in it more than they had any right to be considering their record. And the defense packs a punch early, but the stallions play the 4th quarter like the 1st.

The number 1 issue still persists. THE ROUGHNECKS CAN'T TACKLE! My Lord. This is why I stopped going to the games.

@@practicelogos53teamer I 100% agree with you but I think it to get the fan base back and get ride of the stigma of "gamblers in disguise" is a completely rebuild from top to bottom. Maybe bring back old faces like June Jones and have him train a staff to take over the team after a season or two as he's old man. This team has a lot to fix but keep what worked about strip it down and build back better.

They dropped the ball on the competition this year. XFL was way better last year. Bring back the Sea Dragons and add the LA Express. It's pretty much a two team league with Battlehawks and Stallions.

I just watch the other UFL games from this weekend and one thing is clearly apparent. Tackling is optional in this league. WTH. They make a big deal out of (big) plays for TDs etc and it’s all bc the defender is playing flag or touch FB. What a joke.

wth was 31 of the roughnecks doing on that first stallions td??? Had the perfect angle for a goaline stand and just let the guy in.

Birmingham is clearly the strongest no matter what... so most people are going to expect them to win the championship if they go undefeated.. so if this league is smart and wants to make any money off of that championship, they will make sure Birmingham does not win it all.

Everyone would be expecting them to win, so most of the wager money thrown in by the public will be on them. If this league wants to make the money necessary to not only keep it going, but to expand... They're going to want as much money as possible.

As someone that’s watched a lot of Roughnecks football, the team itself has some talent, but Curtis Johnston is an awful head coach.

Really disappointed in Birmingham fans. They've been the class of the league(s) for three years now. Two championships and undefeated again this year. I know it's Spring Football, but show up for your team! I've heard excuses all Spring - if they're not going to support them, find another city who will. Really it's only DC and St. Louis who are showing up.

Wow a corner Blitz on the last play of the game and the quarterback should have read the hot immediately and went to the open receiver who had no one around him for 20 yards. Although it would have been a completion and most likely he would have been tackled before the end zone that would have at least been a chance to run backwards avoiding the unblocked Blitzer

It's sad that the fans in Birmingham don't get behind that football team do the UFL needs to find cities that wants to have a football team because this league is not that bad

We got them to punt just before half-time with a little over a minute to go. Should we maybe get a good punt return and a drive to be up before half-time as huge underdogs, or be offside at the punt and give them a free first down so they can be up by 10 at half-time? Offsides it is, coach.

Why doesn´t go houston for 3 after their first TD, if the 3 point try is good, they are only a fieldgoal behind?And Birgmingham also not after their TD short before the halftime break, if this is good they lead with 2 posessions

The arm tackle is more accurate than the full contact tackle and if you do miss then it allows you to quickly recover and run after them again

Ho hum. The same team wins all of the time. It makes for a very boring league. And today Dean Blandino really blew a call that should have been a helmet to helmet on a St Louis defender but he did not call it. The UFL just became as bad as the NFL with bad referee calls deciding games. St Louis has the highest fan attendance in the league so the league will fix it so that St Louis is in the playoffs for that attendance. Its all about the money
