was thinking that there are a lot of breadcrumbs somewhere in Japan since so many crusts trimmed from slices of bread 🙄🤔 guess smaller loaves and crustless slices preferred or they wouldn’t be sold 🙄🤔

Such a fun time for the boys! I can’t wait for spring. Your weather is awesome. We are supposed to get 5-8 inches of snow on Friday. It’s been a very mild winter though. Loved the replica statue. I’ve been to the real Statue of Liberty several times. NYC is approx 3.5 hours from here. Thanks for sharing another great video!

Some places here in US have limits on eggs. It isn't too inconvenient yet because our eggs come in 12, 18, 24, 36 and 60 count boxes. Do you have larger than 10 count in Japan? You are right- we mom's have the pleasure of picking what is for meals! I like that too. God Bless 🥰

Hahaha the giant plushy squid next to the hinamatsuri dolls. The rapeblosoms are in store, it's really getting to springtime isn't it :) Lemonade float sounds good. I'll try it when I make lemonade again. I can't really buy it in store here so I always have to make it from scratch. It's not difficult, but I wait until lemons are on sale. I call these dinners where i use something ready made easy dinner. I often cook that way. You can make a great katsu kare that way too. Never had tonkastu sayce with sesame added to it. erhaps I try it sometimes. I did make a sesame sauce once to go with iy but that was like the shaby shabu sesame sauce. It's been so long since I've been to Odaiba. Probably 6 years. I used to love the onsen there but that has closed.

If it makes you feel any better - the cheapest eggs I can get in my neighborhood grocery are US$3.99 or 543.43¥. And they are not as high quality - not safe to eat raw by any means! I understand the stress, tho!

There's also a shortage of eggs in the USA as well. I've heard over here it's because of the Avian flu or a Avian illness going through chickens halting their production of eggs. Naturally chickens really stop producing eggs or their production drops during the colder winter months. I'm not entirely sure why, but my guess would be because to continually lay eggs it requires a lot of nutrients and a healthy hen to produce an egg. In factory farms where Hens remain either caged or in an unnatural environment I wouldn't be surprised if they do not get the basic nutrients or even the health they require because the main goal of factory farms is to produce as many eggs as possible sometimes at the expense of the animal. Am I overanalyzing? Probably. I've studied Agricultural science and I have knowledge on livestock animals and how to care for them in a Agricultural setting.

I love and have started a recipe book from your videos! But my favorite thing I have learned from your channel is how you crack an egg! I used to tap it to the counter top, and then would have to sanitize it from having a little egg on it! Now I just tap 2 eggs together and no mess!! Thanks for making these videos for us!! ❤

Yes, we've been experiencing the egg problem too...they are saying it's due to bird flu & they've had to put down entire flocks of chickens, but some people are saying that some flocks were destroyed, that had no signs of bird flu...either way, our egg prices started soaring a couple, three months ago here, in the US. It's sad because a lot of people use a lot of eggs, in place of meats...now, it turns out that meat is actually less expensive than eggs! 😞
