I love how the power and adulation of being King went straight to Aegon’s head. Before his coronation, he spent his life avoiding the throne, and now he has it, his whole reason for living is to keep it.

@@thomasmuandersontheneousul4184 Viewing figures say otherwise. Regardless, both this and TROP are based on excellent books, but TROP isnt allowed to use the story it needs to. Its literally fan fiction, and not that great fan fiction. This is a proper adaptation of the real story. Season 1 of both shows demonstrated the difference. HOTD was in a different league.

I met the location scout manager when they were filming at Salisbury. The entire filming crew stayed at the hotel I worked at. Really nice people. Can’t wait for it to come out

I love Emma D'arcy and her portrayal, but I just miss young Rhaenyra's fierceness and her ability to ignore everyone to have it her way. Hope to see this part of the character in the war too!

I can't even see them as the same character. Milly will always be the true Rhaenyra to me, even though she was cast to be a younger version of Emma's portrayal. Milly did too much to make the role her own, and Emma seems like a lesser version of the character. I wish they had just cast Milly and been done with it. Yeah she looks young now, but she'll age over the 5 or 10 years it takes them to complete this series. They could have eased us into the time jump over a couple seasons instead of going 15 years forward in two episodes and changing actresses.

@@adviththegreat5610 the book is bias too. It was written by Maestres of the Citadel that are pro-green, pro-hightower. Even when they invited Mushroom to give his version, the Maestres would constantly dismiss his accounts and focus on the words of other maestres or the Septon. And that's the point (Atleast bookwise), history is written by the winners but interpreted by the historians each and everyone with their bias.

Moondancer is such a beautiful dragon.

​@carla3693 Not even in the books did he accept her as Queen, I theorise that daemon had a plan to get rid of rhanyra and harwin strongs children and place his 2 children with rhaenyra as the heirs to the throne and drift mark. I think he wanted to push HIS sons as the heirs rather than his stepsons in jacerys, lucerys and joffrey.

Daemon at the beginning in the throne room...have a feeling it is from the finale again. Staring at the one thing that cost him so much for his entire family and the dynasty as a whole. Nothing would be the same ever again.

​@@Hastur_the_King_in_Yellow maybe it's just me since I read the book before I watched the show but the way his army went to show how dangerous they thought he was considering the fact that they decided to drain him both physically and mentally. Honestly not counting dragons, with the exception of maybe Benjicot Blackwood, Criston is probably the most dangerous fighter in the realm.

I literally cannot get over that last shot of Rhaenyra and Vermithor I absolutely love it.

I am very excited. Fantastic trailer

Literally got fully body chills after that last scene showing vetmithor rising up in front of rhaenyra he looks so amazing best dragon Design yet 🐉🔥.
