It's always sad to see many of these old houses demolished but, that's just inevitable progress. Nothing lasts forever.

When I saw the thumbnail I thought it was going to be a video about touring a weird shaped house until I read the title

It's part of the same project, but I'm not sure how the space will be used.

Ask this old house it could of been saved.

Much better operator, but he didn't appear to trying to salvage any materials or separate them as on the motel demo. That old house must have been hard to keep warm, because I couldn't see any insulation during the demolition.

There was insulation in bits of the building. When he took down that little room in back the walls were fully insulated with yellow fiberglass. It was also in the exterior walls in the corner of the main building next to that. It looked like the bathroom had been remodeled and they insulated it then. But I didn't see any elsewhere. Actually he did separate materials, but there was very little to separate. It was mostly just wood, plaster, and mixed debris. But at the beginning he pushed the bricks from the wall aside. At 27:40 he's separating something metal - looks like a front door - and a few times after that he pulled out metal pipes.

I agree this is one of the better operators I've seen. Does it clean and fast. Reminds me a lot of the house demos I post.

Is that the same company that demoed the motel?

Yes. The house is right next door to the motel. Same company, same excavator, different operator.
