    Hi. I have just bought this exact dryer and have a question. I have dried two loads of laundry in it so far and already the condenser cleaning red light has come on as has the filter red light. The filter is spotless and the condenser just can not possibly need cleaning yet. It does go off when I start a new cycle. Is this normal? Are the sensors overly sensitive? Thanks :)

    Great explanation and helpful demo! Received this model today and puzzled by a rubber strip at the bottom lip of the front of the dryer. It was held on by tape but not sure if it is protective packing or part of the dryer. The rubber runs the width of the machine. Welcome your thoughts as installation sheet makes no mention. Thanks again Neil

    Thinking about buying one of these machine for an elderly parent, how often would you recommend the tank can be emptied, i think waiting til it's full could be a little heavier than we'd like for her

  • @lords-electrical

    @lords-electrical

    Жыл бұрын

    On the whole, you would normally empty it every 3-4 loads, but as you say it can get heavy. I know of customers that empty the water and clean the filter after each load, this way it is done each time and the container is a lot lighter than if you leave it until it is full.

    Hi mate, I bought this same dryer only last week but when I turned it on for the first time it had the loudest noise almost like a tractor engine, had to turn it off straight away. I thought it may be that silver foil on the back that needs removing as thought it might be covering up the air vent but looking at your video its kept on? is that correct? Have you heard of this before as the noise is unbelievably loud

    It should just get warm, there isn't anything special about the drying function on this model so it should start to get warm in a short space of time. Don't forget that because it has a sensor, then the first couple of minutes may not be heating, but if after 10 - 15 minutes it doesn't appear to be warming then i would contact the retailer to get them to sort it for you.

    I just bought the same Model: H3D91WB UK which was delivered yesterday (15th Sep) and I was surprised to see you had the same model on your video. I wish all companies created videos such as yours to put on KZread for customers, as it would make it easier to either learn how to use, or even assemble their products, as some manuals are a bit awkward to follow. Anyway, I digress, I really loved your video, but there is one thing I didn’t get. On the video I see the numbers 2:20 on the screen, is that 2hr 20 min? I would think we would only need 30 minutes to dry anything. How do we set the timer for 30 minutes. I will look back later to see if you have answered my problem. Once again, great video.

    Sounds odd, just check to make sure the condenser is going in the correct way up and the blue tabs are in the correct position.

    Just check the door is firmly shut. If it is slightly open then it won't start. Or also make sure the water container is empty, if it is full then it won't dry also.

    There may be a fault with one of the sensors, but I would first of all clean the sensor inside the door cavity to see that helps. If not it may be a case of getting someone to have a look at it for you.

    It shouldn't be making a grating sound from brand new. Just check there is nothing in the drum but apart from that I would contact the retailer you purchased it from for them to have a look for you.

    It will be the initial setting, but with the sensor dry setting it will alter the time of the program to how dry the clothes you need them.
