Hi we have a new Hotpoint tumble condenser dryer and loved it for three weeks until it started flashing lights and FO4 through the cycle for some reason your website skips the F04 error code explanation and we are having a nightmare waiting for an exchange due to stock issues, can you tell me what FLASHING F04 Means? Many thanks

Hello there. My hotpoint dryer doesn't dry properly and I've dried to clean it all out but it still doesn't dry.. it takes about 30 mins on the cottons ready to wear when it shouldn't.. so we have to resort to using the timed programmes as they are the only programmes that dry the clothes properly

I have thoroughly cleaned it and the surrounding areas however I still can't start the dryer. The red light still flashing. Only 9 weeks old. Any ideas? Thanks.

I can’t get the heat exchanger to fit back in again after a spot of regular maintenance/cleaning it. It seems to be a common problem with these and some customers cutting or trimming them if warped but they shouldn’t be this way to begin with. Also sure the warranty would then be voided by them so not something I plan to do even if it’s worked for others. Can you tell me hotpoint will an engineer look at this for me and fit it back in or replace the part if faulty under warranty?
