Bumped into Hothouse Flowers one night at a hotel in the Docklands when I was working up that way. Got drinking and ended up having a sing song with them on the piano in the bar. Liam is one of the nicest guys you could ever meet, a real old soul. Not an ounce of self importance about him and genuinely friendly to everybody. I was very impressed with Liam and the band and had a great time. A top man.

I was 32. My life went by so quickly. I love this song since then. I am 65 now.

They used to play in the brazen head pub in Dublin my mother was a chef there at the time and she got me and my brothers a post it note from the band wishing us the best in life that was about 1989/1990. Absolutely love this band.

There are soo many songs with don't go in their title that this jumps out last if you don't know the bands name, when it should be THE ONE "don't go" song and should jump out first when searching! There, I've got that out of my system now 😁😁😁

Still going too. I saw Liam at a small blues bar in northern Ireland about 8 years ago. Solo gig with a few friends coming up on stage. He was incredible, he can literally play anything! He had instruments from all over the world with him. One if the best gigs Ice ever witnessed. Shared a pint of the black stuff with him afterwards. Top bloke too 👍

I first heard this played at a concert I randomly saw on TV in the 80s, when I was a little kid. Never heard it anywhere else since. I've searched for it for years.
