I was their waiter at a restaurant in Portland, Oregon that year. Nicest, most unassuming people. They gave me tickets to their concert and I became a fan for life!

What become of HOTHOUSE FLOWERS they were brilliant I loved them there was a really good music vibe in the late 80s and 90s like hothouseflowers,talk talk,even oasis,del amitri,I loved them all rock on...

I miss these bands, it was great when people sang, and hung out together without egos

I have the same question. I think they were too far ahead of their time.

You always knew when Dave loved a band. He didn't have a "type" really. But he respected authenticity, i think. And showmanship.
