This week I finally used my extra Snowspeeder model and put it an Echo Base hangar nook. The whole thing fits inside a baseball display box and took about 10 hours to complete.

    Those cubes would make a great Cabin in the Woods monster array. Giant snake, spider, zombies, merman, sexy witches. That sort of thing.

    Definitely needed the hole for more ambient light.. and gives you another view from the top. Love these simple little builds.

    Have you ever done anything from the original Blade Runner? I think the car taking off in the neon lit streets, maybe with a couple people with those sweet umbrellas would be SO awesome

    Great call on the ambient light at the end. Would love to see this exact same thing with cockpit lights too l. Adam Savage did that on his AT-AT diaroma and it looked awesome.

    I think the old MPC Hoth set has figures in that scale. Get your hands on one as there are a lot of figures in it. Superb nook BTW...

    Damn bro…. you’re some piece of work; you know this shit looks pretty easy BUT BELIEVE ME GUYS - any one of these steps - ANY ONE OF THEM - could take hours and hours if not days to get looking right. I know, trust me I know cuz I’m been trying to reproduce something EVEN CLOSE and nope…. Lolol not happening. But this channel is the reason I started the hobby so, I’m going to keep at it till one day, one day, the gods of miniature modeling bless me with something even approaching non-scrofulous

    Looks amazing as always! I can never seem to cut styrene straight, I always end up moving the ruler or something 🤣 also, they do sell battery holders for CR2032 so you don’t have to dissect tea lights all the time

    That is an amazing build! Did the LEDs stay inside all the painting time or did you remove them for that process?
