Shortly after Gordon left Lisa and Jonathon reverted straight back to the old Vienna. They changed the decor and took all of the clutter back out of storage. They went back to the old menu and as a result their reputation has remained the same. Vienna Inn closed in November 2017. It closed after the hotel suffered from a fire that caused around $75,000 of damage. The hotel was sold for $30,000 in 2018. I dont get why they ask Gordon to come help and then just revert back to what didnt work!!!

What amazes me most is if your old setup was so perfect why wasn't it making you any profit ?. From where do this owners get the audacity to change everything back to old style which wasn't making a dime for you is beyond my understanding.

John was really happy and grateful that Gordon helped him and showed him the way to success, bus Lisa is the main problem in that relationship... She constantly bickers with him, attacks him verbally, and constantly blames him for every detail and not to mention the fake crying. Im not surprised this hotel didnt work out. If John wants to be happy he needs to divorce her otherwise he might suffer a heart attack

Reminds me of the Amber Heard of running a hotel

I had an employer delay paying my salary once. Payday was supposed to be on Friday. Had the weekend off, didn't turn up for work on Monday. When my boss called me to ask why, I told him I didn't have money to go to work, because I hadn't been paid. My salary was in my bank by 10:00 a.m., and it was NEVER late again.

Lisa shows some very scary narcisistic tendencies here, and her husband seems to roll over at every conflict. I could call him an enabler, but I'm afraid that he very well could be being abused. This is the first episode where my heart sinks for them because the problems seem to be cutting a lot deeper than you see when you take it at face value.

From the beginning ofnthis episode i noticed Lisa acting and I thought the episode director might told her to do so, but I was shocked when Gordon asked her 'why are you acting'. That was such an epic moment😁😁😁

I lived in Vienna for 8 years, three things: 1) No lady in Vienna/Austria presents her bosom when working at a hotel or restaurant - even not on a date. The upper 4-6 buttons of the bodice traditionally are also used ;-) 2) The food is nowhere close to authentic and modern Viennese cuisine, e.g. "Königsberger Klöpse" is a dish from Germany and East Prussia (today part of Poland and Russia). And the biggest surprise: Most of chrysanthemums types (the flower he ate) are lightly to severely poisonous. I really wonder that his mouth didn't get numb. The only chrysanthemum sort, at least I am aware off, that can be eaten, is the Chinese yellow chrysanthemum called "Ju Hua" which is used for tea preparation. 3) Making employees pay 300 USD for their own uniform (a classic "Dirndl"? Rather Bavarian...)? And I don't want to comment on her narcissistic personality, ....

I have seen many bosoms of waitresses in Austria, just not wearing a Dirndl. Just one day a year, I forget what it's called.

If my boss smacked me they would have 2 options. Beg for my forgiveness or get charged with assault. The absolute nerve.

Why the donations then? If he was that much of an asshole, the community would have known. There must be another side to it. There's this KZreadr named ChrisFix who fixes cars for people. One of the guys he fixed the car of was a cop and Chris built a full-fledged cop car for him (for non-work use). I later learned that the cop sold the car(!!!), but that was because using said car was not allowed, even for personal use. I'm sure Chris got adequately compensated for his work regardless.
