Wow! Phenomenal figure, and a great review! I am getting this figure and I'm really excited, and I think out of the Vader figures that have been released, this one is easily the best, we'll see if ROTJ Vader can top this. And this will be my first Vader Hot Toys figure, and my first Star Wars Hot Toys figure, so yeah, looks awesome!!!

Mine should be here next week. I am absolutely thrilled, you know that they announced young Padawan Ahsoka. I’m really hoping they can also make the version from the siege of Mandalor which we already have but is the animated version I for one would like to have the live action to pose it with this Vader from the episode when Ashoka fought him in SW Rebels. It would look awesome!!

Very nice figure but It is my understanding that the synthetic leather on hot toys starts to deteriorate after 5 years.

Had a question regarding the CCFL saber: do you keep them on and also do you put them close to the figure, being they can get pretty warm…..?

They do get pretty warm depending on what brightness setting you have them on! But what I mainly use them for is when someone comes over or for a picture. I have them set up on a switch that I turn on and off with my phone!

Suit and cape don't look as good as previous versions. This is a dx? Btw, common sense says, take the ball joint out the wrist, put it in the glove, then put on the wrist. 🤙🏼

The real fix for the lightsaber is a FROSTED BLADE…a textured blade…. or if you dare: sand it and it’ll catch all the lighting from the diode ….

​@@collectorjoey this goes for anything acrylic or clear plastic that is used as a lens for light. Same principal as light piping. Think about how frosted bulbs are brighter all around than clear glass bulbs which have a hot spot…or the how bright the clear plastic edges of plexiglass glow under light ….frost or scratch that clear surface and it will catch all the light , too.

@@collectorjoey the harder the plastic used for the lightsaber blade, the better the effect….a softer material like pvc,is harder to sand and gets shredded ….but that might look interesting too I will also add…..if the color of the plastic is painted on, sanding will scratch off any paint, but you can always repaint with translucent paint
