Unreal, they nail almost everything else but drop the ball on the most crucial part, the head sculpt. This is not easy to say but the NECA Doc is a dead ringer for Christopher Lloyd and that's a $40 figure!

I also posted this thought on FB, but it just dawned on me that some of those container/shipping cases, like the plutonium case, are actually made with plywood for the sides and metal for the corners. I wonder if that’s the reason HT went with cardboard for the sides of the plutonium case. It would more closely represent plywood, for the accuracy. Otherwise I think it would’ve been easier to make it all plastic. Just a thought. Like you said though, we’ll never know. Good review!

Its like HT trained all year for the big game and when they finally stepped up to the plate, they hit a triple rather than a homerun like everyone was expecting.... Maybe next season HT. Sorry but the headsculpt is a dealbreaker for me.

Seems a real shame HT could not give us a new, better sculpt. They did a good job on everything else. Hopefully a new Doc sculpt will be made by a 3rd party company.

I have ordered the standard edition, still waiting for mine, i have the original Marty I'm not keen on the new verion that comes with Einstein think it makes this marty a little fat looking

I have the original Marty and then purchased the 2.0, so I can definitely say the newer version doesn't have a fat look. It's just how the figure is situated in this video, so nothing to do with any changes made to it. As far as I know, it's the exact same body, with pretty much identical clothing minus the colouring/texturing being slightly different. Ended up throwing the new jacket and vest on the original, then selling the rest. That 2.0 head looks like Tom Holland. Even though the original looks kinda like an aged Michael J Fox zombie with scurvies, I think it's a better likeness.

The least the could’ve done was fill those holes. Come in HT

Lazy move for having to wait 14 months

Great video dude! Im excited to get this figure but I do wish they spent a little more time on the headsculpt. I have no issues with anything else, especially the plutonium case 🔥

Great video. I see on the las podcast that you have order some decals for the Delorean. Can't you tell or give the reference were you order them?
