Why did they change the ab plate to have angled lines when the costume and the prototype figure have straight vertical lines? I'm referring to the part just above the belt.

because the original part was missing the abdomen dots and they swapped it out

Folks arguing make believe. Anyways, this looks very nice. No one here likely worked on set and handled the props.

I'm not sure why they changed the shade of blue so much in the shows. The deep blue in Revenge of the Sith and the Clone Wars was perfect, just seems unnecessary and careless on their part.

Don't forget that all the clones in Revenge of the Sith were CG. I'm willing to bet they used the same blue based on Panatone charts, but when you have something created digitally vs reality, they don't always look the same. Not saying they didn't change it, mind you, just that it's not as obvious as you seem to think.

the 501st are a light blue in rots, clone wars they’re darker but this is closer to their original color

@@poky3933 I know I’m just saying that the long rifle that came with every clone trooper previous released were animated based which are not accurate to the movies, this one is the more correct design that should’ve been used with those previous releases.
