I binge watched your entire season in 2 days, just watched the ultimatum & reunion this morning and I must say that my heart broke for you watching that reunion!! Mildred was so extremely rude & selfish for not allowing YOU to speak and then when she said that you weren't letting HER speak, I just lost it!! I cannot believe she bashed you that hard on national TV and I can tell she was lying to gain attention, BUT America seen you! Most of the cast saw you and your side in the situation! As someone who grew up under the heel of apartheid let me explain WHY all the hate. Your government needs a certain amount of the population to stay in place or it really really effs with your economy. Most people like to be in big cities where commerce is easy. How do we keep rural people rural? We infect them with bigotry and senseless fear. The hate that they spew at you is a sign of their victimhood. The system really has them. People infected with this hate dont travel, they are unlikely to seek better opportunities in new places because they fear that their bigotry will not be accepted. They create a cognitive dissonance in their minds that enables them to lie to themselves and others and accept those lies from others without much question. The problem is just too persistent for it to be a natural one. People dont behave this way left to their own devices. This is your government distracting you from the war machine. If everyone is fighting at home then they are less likely to care what the government is doing overseas. Compassion is the only cure.
