As you stated, a chateau the size of Colombe should not be shy of people and would best thrive on animated conversation of like minds... with a serving of volunteerism if possible. Asparagus soup is a fantastic soup. I add a snif sugar in it,but the recipe is the same as I learned to cook from my mother.( Netherlands 🇳🇱).

Good morning Patrick & Stuart, as always, you put on a fine show. The table looked so pleasant, and the food looked great. At the dinner table it is all about the "atmosphere" for those whom are present. It was nice to share the menu with you, the food plated, looked absolutely smart and delicious. I can’t believe how transformed the dining room is with the paint and panels! I like the wall color with the tile colors! Your China is lovely and I love the lemons on the square tablecloth! The candles are pretty lit up in the room at night!

Why didn’t I ever hear that you need to cook the butter & flour for a few minutes when making a roux so it doesn’t taste like flour? How fun it is to learn something new at 68. Your dinner had me salivating! I loved the table setting too.

Hi Patrick & Stuart. Such a lovely video! Patrick your cooking looked like something at a 5 Star fancy Resturant.! Every course was divine and I Must try to make that soup, YUM.
