I was trying to think what you meant by a box. I had to go back and re-watch. The cardboard box is just from christianbook and not connected to the Bible itself. The Bible itself is KJV

Church Bible publishers, is another place you can buy Bibles, hi quality, leather for cheap. all kinds note takers,wide margin etc.

Katie, I can't believe that Christianbooks would not take the bible back at their expense since the rip in the page would have been a manufacturing flaw, not something you had caused when removing the ribbon!☹

When I called, the woman on the phone said there was no refund but I just received a check in the mail saying it was a reimbursement because I was a “member” (which I don’t know anything about being a member)… so maybe she worked that out for me because of the rip?? So anyway that was nice. I have to say I really like amazon so much better because it’s rare you don’t get a refund with them.

Such a beautiful Bible. I’ve had my eye on it for a bit cause I want to get a bigger KJV.
Lately my orders from Christian book dist. are not shipped promptly. They have problems with the postal system. Nothing moves forward and takes much longer. Even when paying extra for postage the pkg. Moves so slow. My last order from CBD took 6 weeks while it sat in Memphis,TN. Poor business. Sorry for your damaged bibles they are good for that also.
