Thanks Russell. Really appreciate that. And thanks for taking the time to watch 😁
Great route again!!! Have a look at the ‘76 Projects’ Enduro mount. Sticks the Garmin to the top tube out of harms way 👍🏻👍🏻

Cheers rufus. I’ve thought about what you suggested in the past. Don’t like it on the frame. It’s to hard to see without proper looking down and taking eyes off the trail. I just need to be more careful in future 🤣

@@TrailFinder Mounted just behind the stem there’s not too much difference, must be better than a busted Garmin 😩😩. Especially given the prices of the new ones 😩😩
Another top video mate, love watching your content. Ps, is the hydro shot broke 🤣

🤣 as long as it’s running smooth silent and perfect gear changes , I don’t see the point in cleaning it all the time
How you finding those grips Andy? Help with pump and fatigue?…. Thanks for the video!
@TrailFinder
Жыл бұрын
Hi mate. Very comfortable grips. I bought them because of arm pump which they have helped with a great deal. It’s nice having that big flat section to rest your hands on. Won’t ever go back to round I don’t think. Worth a punt on to see if you like them.
Hi again Andy, done parts of this route, a cracker and will deffo be giving this version a whizz, can I pls ask what cassette set you changed to when you went wireless, yours looks awesome, love the copper look👍

Hi sorry Carl, I’ve only just seen this comment, so times they slip through without me seeing them, I’m running the gold one this time, I came from the copper one, it’s the sram 52 tooth version
Tell john to try the mcgill 3 for his back
Thank Christ John is there to open the gates..! and with a bad back ;-)

😂😂 did you see the end of the video where he was rolling around on the floor in agony ,while I was more concerned with my tyre 🤣
Hey Andy do you carry rucksack or just use the frame bag
@TrailFinder

Yeah just frame bag and bib shorts pockets. I also have a water filter. So have as much water as I can drink with out the need for a rucksack water bladder

What tyre pressures do you run for a ride like this mate?
@TrailFinder
Жыл бұрын
For this ride I was 16 front and 19 rear. That’s on a 2.4 x 29 tyre with side wall protection (Nobby nic super trail)
what Kit do you use? is that a Garmin GPS?

Even my dog Daisy enjoys watching these videos Andy, but that one’s a bit too far for her Spaniel legs.

Hi Mitch. Hope your well bud. Yep pretty long one that. But one of those rides where you blast the miles off quickly
Can't help thinking you'd be better off living the down country dream and getting yourself a short travel bike instead of the ripmo. I do very similar rides to you on mine(trek top fuel) and its is a little weapon. Ride it more than my bigger travel bike now.
@TrailFinder

Couldn’t believe it when I saw this comment as that’s exactly what I’m doing. I 100% agree with you. The ripmo although a very good bike, is to much for what I do.
Hard to believe these days they haven't put protection over all the pots, makes me feel sick just watching you - shuffled toward Gaping Gill once before the bottle went, still makes me queasy when I think about it... 🤮😀
