I worked at Dr Miller's vet clinic in Thousand Oaks, California Also, babysat his kids. He and his wife were family friends. He is the nicest, most caring and knowledgeable man I have ever met. Has a phenomenal sense of humor and was a pleasure to work with.

I hope everyone learns from you. Horses deserve so much more than they get. I love them.

The universe finally brought me to Dr Miller. Hurrah and bravo. I also recommend Steve Young Horsemanship. Steve works entirely on Dr. Miller's principals.

I take riding lessons since a few months and I loved these horses from the first instant but what I found very troubling is how the people professionally dealing with them treat them, sometimes this was appalling What really got to me and on what I couldn't agree more was the last bit of the video where Dr. Miller describes how horses teach us to be better humans

Sometimes a human is just a sour disrespectful hypocrite that just takes and takes and uses their forcefulness behavior to make them feel inferior to another person and even just as worse to animals because animals are helpless! I think humans are the most angry pitiful creatures on this earth! Not All But A Lot and todays society now is the worst by far ...their greedier and cant take words, their cry babies and like I said pitiful!! 🙄😒

Sorry, you lost me on the video of the 10 things to know about horses. It was great until #10. Foals need to be with the mare so she can school it, etc.

He didn't say to take the foal away, just to introduce things while fairly young. I agree that it can be done too soon and too much and too hard, but most of the foals time should be with the mother. Both "schoolings" can take place.
