how do you rebuild a bond with a horse that’s scared of you all of a sudden. my horse started running away from me in his stall and pinning his ears which he never did. i worked for so many months on bonding and now it went all down the drain.

I’m sorry that has got to feel hard when you’ve worked so hard to build trust. It seems like something happened that really terrified him and/or he is in lots of pain. Ulcers can be extremely painful and often present those types of reactions. But these are guesses because I don’t know him or his training situation or living environment. Your vet will be your best avenue in helping you rule out pain ❤️ you’ve got this
