I figured it out........I think because when he was looking in the window from the outside, she had the inside light off, meaning his reflection would be visible on the outside , when the girl and BF checked outside , and looked in, the inside light was on, lighting up the kitchen meaning they could see in I reckon

We used to have a neighbour that would shine a torch through our downstairs windows at 2 am, He did it for a few days unknown to us as we were upstairs, one night I fell asleep on the sofa only to wake up with a Torchlight shining through the front window, I got up and opened the door, I just managed to see him go into his door a few doors down, so the next night, I climbed on the roof of his car and took a shit on the roof, I jumped off, happy with my work, the next morning I saw my other neighbour shouting at the fact wondering why someone had taken a shit on his car.
