I think this guess the elo episode aired on twitch before he featured the game in that other episode on KZread. Or rather, that this guess the elo episode (which was the result of a twitch stream) was what inspired him to make that whole episode featuring the game

I played a game last week that was very similar to game 1. I tried playing the caro with the black pieces but had no idea what I was doing.

I've liked the Caro Kann defense ever since I learned about opening theory, and I was under the impression that c5 was a move that was best to play after the bishop sees the square and when there are advantageous breaks or structural weakenings to be threatened. What's the idea behind playing it on move 3?
