hi.I started flying close to 45 years ago. used button batteries for rx. took back off tx to adjust the pots . had the first 8 channel tx in Australia. this is exactly what I want .love the large accessible sliders . every thing about the ix20 is spot on .Keith Australia

Congratulations to all of the engineers behind this. Although I don’t fly spektrum (I fly Jeti) this radio is truly pushing forward radio technology and features! It is Great for the RC industry that HH is keeping moving and constantly developing this hobbie we love.! I will certainly put my money on companies like this.! Kudos and Keep on pushing forward guys..!!

Yeah yeah yeah yeah!! We all know you guys rock...there a reason even since day 1 when I didn't know anything and I mean anything about RC'S there's a reason why I buy only spektrum radios. I knew since day 1 spektrum was where it's at. Futaba radios are nice lookn I'm sure their software works really well and I almost took a dive but I stick with what I know I stand behind my product no matter what and spektrum is what I chose and will continue to buy....like a barber you always stick with from the time you were a kid.

4:35 Wow... nice soldering station! With Crossfire support the iX20 is the new King Kong of RC radios. Nothing better for FPV with Crossfire support IMO as to be able to get a voice readout of which switch your finger is on while wearing goggles is just amazing... and might be even better for LOS as when your aircraft is just a spec in the distance the last thing you want to do is look away. And to add my 2 cents a blind person that reads braille will tell you each switch should also "feel" different so a simplified braille system would compliment the switch system IMO in case there's too much noise to hear your radio.

The next Ix family synchronize an Artificial intelligence in it, A.I. Nice work horizon

Well looks like my next Radio. Will be a nice update/upgrade to my now aging trusted DX8. The only thing I would have liked to have seen would be ability to feed an FPV view in the screen. Either a AV/HDMi input. Or better still the ability to add a modular VRX video receiver, with SD card for recording.

Can I tranfer my models from my DX20 to a IX20?? Without reprograming then all of course.

I wonder if they are going after Vcontrol?

Kudos to all the development team! Are you working on voice actuation for switches? (I know, never satisfied are we?)

👍 none of that. Just another overpriced peace of equipment. I gave up after 10+ years being spektrum fan. I switched to Frsky and added crossfire... I've never even looked back. Ultimate setup with unbelievable range and most of all: Reliable!

Great radio but... is it affordable? I have a DX 6 & 9. These have never failed me for my type of scale flying with mostly E-Flite prop & jets. I have a feeling that this is a ‘Ferrari’ vs a ‘Toyota’ and suited to $$ pro flyers.

Nothing is brown out proof... nothing. Its all about setup... i pride my self and seting up planes accordingly and I never had a brown out on a single plane. Had a dx6i, dx8, dx9, dx9 black, dx20 and now a ix20 is on the way. Never ever had a Brown out from small 200$ planes, all the way up to 120cc planes

This is not going to "innovate" anything at that price.
