I love the horus in this game. It's beautifully introduced and you can see just how big it is compared to a waterwing. I wish we get to see more of them in the third installment.

It's been a joy coming back to this game. The map and all the post launch QOL improvements really make this DLC feel fresh again.

Holy crap. Just ended my first playthrough for Forbidden West and Burning Shores @ 176 hours. I wish I knew about that auto pick up. Wow.

honestly i hope they'll do a second dlc cuz this was good AF

Well to be fair the first game was supposed to have a second DLC aswell but was ulitmatley scrapped. Maybe we do get another DLC for FW

@@jules0519 yes. Was supposed to focus around the Oseram (similar on how the frozen wilds focused on the Banuk). Entrance to the New area should have been that giant door in the north near that one Oseram village (forgot its Name, been awhile since last time I played ZD). But now looking at FW I would assume the littel that they already planned for the DLC was put into the beginning for FW.

I think this is the best PS5 graphics ever! Loving the DLC so far.

I guess I've it's only because I've played 10 minutes. It looks as good as the tropical level in the game (so far). A plague Requiem has the best PS5 graphics IMO

This DLC was pretty damn good...I wish it was longer because i wanted MORE but it'll do.

One thing to note, if you only follow the main questline of Burning Shore with Seyka, you'd only explore less than 1/3 of the new map. The rest you'd explore with sidequest or you'd have to explore on your own to find more secrets or upgrade materials.

The Zenith weapon looks sick!!! Can't wait to finally try it tn

That new weapon is so cool! At first I was kind of worried, because I simply couldn’t see Aloy use Zenith tech- it just didn’t seem like something she would have, but I’m so glad we do!

You don't need to waste time and ammo shooting stinkspawn individually, the easiest way to deal with the ones that have hatched is to use electricity arrows on them. Because they fly in groups you just use one arrow and the electrical detonation spreads to the others and blows them up.

Just beat the dlc and I loved every minute of it. Totally gonna max out all the new gear and then start another new game plus play through ❤❤❤

thanks for making this - such a fan of the series especially now that transmog is an option. I'll probably wait until PS5 pro is available though like if I'm gonna finally have to upgrade, might as well wait for the better version. HZD is the reason I got a PS4 pro in the first place - hadn't had a console since PS2.

yeah, i did the 1st side quest immediately, rocking the new Quen outfit and put on the same purple dye, with the multi-dot face paint! :D I havent played for a while, took me a minute to get back on the game. Using the DualSense Edge feels really good here (i put the jump and dodge on the back buttons).

Tip for ya! In my play through I found if you fight the stormbird which results in losing your sunwing before the 3rd main mission Heaven and Earth you’ll get the Mount back during that mission. 👍

I just beat the first mission of burning shores. So far I'm loving the new location, new machines, and new characters.

I literally squealed when I saw the Nora Lookout outfit again lol! Last outfit from the first game I expected for them to bring back!

Can you do a builds video for the dlc? I find kind of lost on the subject after so long. I never know what coils to put on my weapons

Can't wait to play when I'm finished w work today

To add on, if you complete the side quest that comes right after the relic ruin, you get a new legendary spikethrower

Hey jorr remember the storm bird in the clouds that you asked for people to share if they figured out what to do with it well what you do is follow the scan trail like you would an aerial capture you have to fight the storm bird after it grounds you it was there after i went back from reloading

Personally I was most of excited for the dlc and seeing jorraptor return to horizon forbidden west with his amazing guides

the dlc looks amazing, lovng the new outfits

When you craft ammo in wheel, excess ammo is sent to your stash so it's no longer wasted.

Learning about the auto pickup alone makes this video awesome

The Thalassophobia Relief setting is amazing. I'll deal with the biggest machine, just don't throw me in the deep dark water

Loved it. Only problem is one of the aerial captures is bugged for me and will not work. I hear many players have this problem too.

Dang, I really wish it would’ve connected at the dam but it’s kinda still close to the location

The Stormbird in the clouds it's actually a mission; he always destroys your sunwing, it's scripted, and then when you fall, he comes down with you and you have to fight it to explore the area without the storm and thunders and start the quest (it's for a flying watchpoint, actually can't remember how it's called now)

Cannot wait for Jedi Survivor, should me amazing. I do feel a bit guilty putting my money in Disney's grubby hands though.

I know I'm late to the video but I found that if you shoot the stinkspawns with shock arrows they explode in one shot and can take out other ones in it's proximity

About that new outfit, it obviously requires 2 legendary armor coils of a certain type (stamina max + stamina regen + deep focus) to beat the previous best outfit. But the shop only sells one, and the other one is obviously out there on the map somewhere, due to my experience that there have already been 5 ancient large chests give legendary armor coils. But I really cannot find THE certain type of the armor coil, which makes this new outfit useless right now.

Gotta say story was solid, I just wished it had more side quests. But then again the ones that you get actually have meaning and sets a certain tone for what's to come. Which makes me want more from this game, so they need to announce something soon as in future content because I devoured this DLC as much as I did with horizon zero dawns release.

I assume they'll announce that rumoured PS5 version of Zero Dawn first. Forbidden West was first announced 3.5 years after the release of H1.

How many DLC main missions are there? Want to get to a point where I have all the new gear but still have time to explore around without progressing too far into the DLC story.

If you preordered the dlc you get your black tide when armor and bow at the vendors for 1 metal shard.

THIS was solid. Them new machines are insane

When the storm bird hits you and you plummet, jump off and glide down. The Storm bird will follow you and then you can kill it on the ground and the storm is gone.

I'm hoping they add the ability to talk to guy about Old world Discovery that's one of the things I loved about forbidden West is talking to Gaia so I'm hoping an update that give you that

The Elite Frost Coil Does it mean 15% frost and 15% extra damage in brittle state?

2:28 if you kill the stormbird after it follows you down to the ground, the storm cloud is gone, which ist kind of cute, but this seems to be all you can achieve.

Guerilla games did not disappoint. Frozen Wilds was a pleasure play. Now we have The Burning Shores dlc.

Whatever outfit and weapon you're supposed to get from preordering this, I did not see a new outfit or weapon in my inventory or stash. I can't remember what they were called. Anyone know or how to get content that was supposed to come from preordering?

Hey guys, I've finished the main story twice (ultra hard new game +), downloaded the DLC, restarted the game, the prompt for Burning Shores have appeared, but the main quest to join Burning Shores have NOT. Do you have any idea about what's going on??

The quen dead shot is my favorite armor in the game

What actually surprises me is the fact the castle & the Hoover dam sections donot seem to have been used in the DLC. I know this was largely speculation for a very long time, but going by new information it doesn't seem to have been used in the DLC at all, could those sections just be unused content that's been left behind? If anyone's wondering what I'm on about you have to go back on the channel here or elsewhere, if I find it I'll leave a link.

They'll probably only do one DLC unfortunately. However I'd love it if they did a smaller DLC or even a small, free questline in that area! See more of the Oseram, maybe

The biggest disappointment for me is we still can't equip 2 valor surges at once and be able to flip to which one we want on the fly and situation. Like come on there are now 18 valors and I can only pick 1? 🤦

I was kinda expecting a year for dlc. Wow didn't even it was released already.

You are not supposed to catch up to that store and bird you have to let him attack you and when you fall to the ground you're supposed to fight him and then go into that building that's right there it's for one of those aerial Viewpoint things

What's the armor that you seem to be wearing for the majority of the video? Wasn't a Quen option. Had a spike of some sort coming off of Aloy's shoulder with ab tattoos? Timestamp: 1:44

The “Blacktide Dye” is not at the Dyer, on the PlayStation blog they said it’ll be at the first dyer merchant. Also I got an “Imperial Gold” dye from an early mission and that’s not available too. What’s going on?

It’s at the outfit stitcher that’s how you get it. It’s just the armour outfit from what I get, haven’t come across a dye either if it even is one

@@DubZer0 Okay I found them but the new dyes are ONLY for the quen outfits. Very disappointed smh. Can’t even use them on the Nora Lookout armor even tho it’s new as well.

The spectre gauntlet was interesting to play around with...but not having proper upgrades like other weapons for improved stats or even any coil slots to improve it further kinda limits it on higher difficulties to a small/medium machine killer or part breaker

Agreed. On Ultra Hard, it's not very impressive. Honestly, it's not been useful at all. I'm not giving up on it, yet. I'll keep trying it in different scenarios and will keep an eye on what other players discover. It could be I've simply not been using it optimally.

From what I've read online after noticing it does have one upgrade slot but no apparent way to upgrade it you can apparently find the upgrade for it in a camp in a later quest that also allows you to fit a single coil in it but I haven't reached that part yet, I'm only up to being about to start the Waterwing quest.

@@Lucifurion the one 'upgrade' you get via a side quest only unlocks the 2nd ammo type. No actual stats change on the upgrade and no coil slots open.

@@Lucifurion I've done a lot of digging, and the only thing I'm discovering is the thing I already referenced: adding the railgun firing mode via a side quest item. If you have anything concrete about adding a coil slot, definitely share your source. I'd love to buff this thing.

Question 🙋🏻‍♂️ northwest of the shared slaugherspine/thunderjaw location between two campfires is brimgleam location underground that I can’t figure out how to get to? I found the cliff side outcropping but can’t get past the fence. It’s also northeast of the quen settlement

Apparently if you do the jump then pullcast move to the first yellow handhold it pulls you up to where you can grapple strike through the gap to the vent. Haven't been back there to try it out yet after reading about how to get through that gap, still have to get it myself.

Still wondering how to reach Certain locations that seem impossible to reach

0:55 auto pickup doesn’t pick up a ton of stuff for me… anything that is currently full. Kinda sucks. But neat nonetheless. Don’t really understand why they are limiting it. I am partway through NG+. I’m trying to barrel through the remainder of the story to play the DLC but I’m just not that kinda player. So it’ll be a few days before I get to it. Tough will all the games that recently came out and are coming out soon. Jedi Survivor for instance. Just wrapping up my replay of that too

I didn’t need to finish New game plus it just gave it to me.

Hmm. I got a few coils that made my main bow and armor a little better. But a game changer? Not nearly as much as Frozen Wilds was for Zero Dawn.

I've said this many times. What I REALLY want, are two things: A way to track the data points so I can gather all the Lore. And 2, a way to CUSTOMIZE me Weapon Wheel. That way I can place my weapons were I want them, and control thierammo types placement: left-center-right, and top-middle-bottom. That way I can place my explosives, elemental or piercing ammo together and ot end up MISCLICKING!

I just glide and grab back onto my mount to avoid it getting destroyed in the storns

I'm done with the Story and now I'm looking for stuff but I have a Problem. In the North-East of the Settlement is a cave in there is Brimstone but I don't get in this cave and i can't find any other way in.

solved it, you need to hook on and use the high jump but because i never realy used this quite some time i totaly forgot about it -_-

So I played my first save of the game on PS4 and completed the main story. If I buy the DLC am I able to play it or do I have to restart my entire play though on a PS5 save?

Nope, you”ll be fine. On the Ps5 you get the option to import ps4 saves

Apparently only ps5 have access to this dlc solely because of the processing power required for one of the fights...so

Huge still black screen thing in both main & Dlc repair bay cauldron not detecting complete or Gemini cauldron all quests are complete cauldrons are complete according to map & quest menu these two cauldrons don't appear in cauldron menu is machines. What still are not unlocked still says unknown cauldron when go to base Reddit about this issue has been archived Sony is avoiding this issue the digital version is broke
