Very happy with it.UPDATE: After 6 months of use and over 70 uses I would still highly recommend this pressure washer. It does vibrate a decent amount but never had it “walk” like others have mentioned. No oil leaks, still seems to run like the day I bought it. Still cranks within 2-3 pulls every time. Very happy with my purchase!Have used it about a dozen times now. Plenty of power, cranks up on 1-2 pulls every time. My only complaint would be I wish it was a little taller to make it easier to walk with it (hits my ankles a lot) and that the two hose connections were a little further apart but it hasn’t caused me any issues. Seems to run a good 1-1/2-2 hrs on a full tank, overall a well built machine and definitely worth the money in my opinion.

@matthias8094

***** How do you prevent swirl marks? Use two buckets. Fill one bucket with soapy water and fill the other with clean water. Each time you’re ready to reload your sponge with soapy water, dip it in the clean water first, to rinse out the grit and contamination you’ve just removed from your vehicle. Then dip it in the soapy water and continue washing. An even better option is the Grit Guard. This plastic grid sits in the bottom of a 5-gallon wash bucket and stabilizes the water. Contamination and particles settle to the bottom of the bucket and the clean wash water remains at the top.

ok this is a commercial high throughput wash so I didn't expect my level of rinse, snow, rinse, wash, rinse, dry, clay, rinse or wash depending how dirty it is, dry, potential 2nd / spot clay, dry, polish and sealant. it takes me an hour to clean my car. However you have to follow the basic, rinse > wash > rinse > prep (clay) then finish (polish and / or wax)

So many perfectionists far to critical of what they do. These guys laughing all the way to the bank. Most folks want a clean, nice smelling, no window streaks car and enjoy the experience. It's like women spending 1/2 a day getting peds and nails done. Yes.. I've washed my Vette by hand since the day I got it. Nobody touches it but me. Done the all day detail and proud at the end of the day.. It's not my DD.. I'd love a place like this for my GMC Denali truck. It's a damn work truck - not filthy in the mud work truck, but it looks damn nice. Maybe once a year on a nice day, I'll fix what car washes have done to it, but crap - not every time.. Brilliant idea guys. Wish they were in the states.. In fact I'd even look into franchising opportunities. Contact me!!

this is a car-wash, it's not a detailing business. what do you expect for 30-40 dollars? a detailer would ask 5 to 10 times more for what they do but it would also last 5 to 10 times longer and look many times better. i think this is a lot better than those automated car washes where they just roll in their vehicle and machines slap rubber against all the panels and whatever and call it a day.

@matthias8094
10 жыл бұрын
1. wash 2. clay 3. polish 4. If you want to you can use a glaze 5. sealant 6. wax Detailing clay glides along the surface of your paint and grabs anything that protrudes from the surface. The particle sticks to the clay and is therefore removed from your vehicle. The surface being clayed should always be wet with clay lubricant to prevent loose debris from scratching the vehicle.
@djbazzmaster
10 жыл бұрын
sealant and then wax? doesnt make sence ..SEALant ..you want to seal it all up ..so i think its wax and then sealant. but what i meant with my comment was ..why would you first polish a car (and scratch it all up) and then claybar (LOL)

Wash your own car, or have a professional mobile detailer do it for you. Rinsing the wash mitt isn't going to get those dirty particles off. It'll scratch the paint on the next car. A grit guard should be used.

Even grit guards don't do much.. Every time you push the glove into the water it pushes the water at the bottom to the top. But yes I agree with you. I was watching the part where they cleaned the cars skirting then went right too the doors... Doesn't take a genius to figure that one out...

This is a quick effective detail service! Most people I know don't have time to wait for a 2hr car wash, much better things to do with their time! What your describing is not financially viable for these business as they need volume to cover their huge labour costs etc. What your describing is more of a specialist high end valet service, the people that have the time and money for that type of service I'm sure will go there, not to a high volume place like this, this place they do a decent job for decent price and main thing is convenience, which is what most people want!

This is an incredibly well produced video. Seriously impressed. Hoppy's, whoever you paid to produce this video, double the pay and recommend him to everyone around you. So far as the service itself, I would take my beloved Saab to you- however, I'm pretty much on the other side of the world from you. In any case, a fantastic representation of your company.
Beautiful operation they have there! Very clean, uniform and professional!
Claying in a circular motion? Sheesh.
@HitmanAtM16

+Parachute216Reg That makes zero sense. What is conditioning paint? And a clay bar is done BEFORE any polishing to remove fine particles that don't further dig into the clear coat. You always going in linear directions with a clay bar.

+Parachute216Reg nah dude you're actually the one who wont get it. you do have to use the clay before buffing/polishing otherwise the pad can pick up little particles thatll scratch the paint cause it doesnt break down with the compound or polish and youll get pigtails

Cringeworthy. He looked like he was really working that clay inward to the paint too. Everything I use clay I glide it across back and forth with very little pressure.

+Parachute216Reg The reason PRO detailers never go in circular motion is, IF you add swirls accidentally, straight lines are much less visible than circular scratches. And wtf is conditioned the paint with buffer? You don't fucking touch your car with buffer, especially with rotary, before you decontaminate painted surface!
Can I be that guy and say, "If you love your car so much, why don't you do the job yourself?" .-. I like the concept here, but I prefer to use the two-bucket method, and a grit guard.

I don't trust the two bucket method. I use one bucket and 6 different wash mitts that way I never rinse a mitt in my soap. It washes then I discard and use a clean one. No Scratches !👍😎

what r u talking about?!?!? u mean him scrubbing the dirt off the car with a highly lubricated extremely soft washing mitten, lol, u got to be kidding, how do u expect to get dirt off of a car? and he says they wash the mitter's and use a new clean one on each car that pass's threw.

Oh no, the use of the orbital in that way was mind numbing and clay AFTER the orbital? Clay is a prep stage and the orbital application of the wax is a final

ok this is a commercial high throughput wash so I didn't expect my level of rinse, snow, rinse, wash, rinse, dry, clay, rinse or wash depending how dirty it is, dry, potential 2nd / spot clay, dry, polish and sealant. it takes me an hour to clean my car. However you have to follow the basic, rinse > wash > rinse > prep (clay) then finish (polish and / or wax)
3:16 that background Ipad demo tho :)))
They clean the bottom and the top part of that car with the same wash mitts...GOOD JOB SIR
WOW! This is perfect! These cars can be sold!
If you want your car clean and shining, do it yourself. All those products that use in car wash are low quality and cheap class, think about it, not even mention the hundreds of scratches that your car takes.

***** Wrong answer : a bad pre-wash, wrong brushes and wrong products cause scratches. A handwash without a proper pre-wash will also cause scratches. Even at "Hoppys". I wanna test Hoppys with my car after a hard winter and lots of salt. They will fail, no doubt about that. Look at the Suzufucky at 2.55, black paint and swirls.
But a fantastic video and seems to a very comprehensive high-end service offering
this is a car-wash, it's not a detailing business. what do you expect for 30-40 dollars? a detailer would ask 5 to 10 times more for what they do but it would also last 5 to 10 times longer and look many times better. i think this is a lot better than those automated car washes where they just roll in their vehicle and machines slap rubber against all the panels and whatever and call it a day.
The fuckers are washing bottom to top lol! Yet the owners of this place put this video on youtube! As for rinsing the mitt!!! he didn't even rinse it in just water lol And do they even realise that drying the car the way they do can cause loads of damage to the paint???

First polish the paint AND THEN claybar......?!
@matthias8094
@djbazzmaster

sealant and then wax? doesnt make sence ..SEALant ..you want to seal it all up ..so i think its wax and then sealant. but what i meant with my comment was ..why would you first polish a car (and scratch it all up) and then claybar (LOL)
@lolnah8856
10 жыл бұрын
***** No you absolutely put a sealant on before a wax (if you're going to wax it after). Sealant goes onto bare paint. It will NOT bond to wax.
Damn, yesterday my chemistry teacher has cleaned my car... His name is Walter White.
Thanks to you detailers work......
For someone looking not to spend hundreds of dollars on a "expert" detailer these guys are great. For a fast and quick service you cant expect them to worry too much about swirl marks and all. Give them a break, they're better than those pesky auto car washes.
I noticed he said that a chemical goes on the wheels to protect the brake dust , surely you want the brake dust gone lol , that's the point of cleaning the wheels to get rid of all the grime and brake dust , not look after it haha, appart from that this place looks pretty cool , Good video :)
Thanks Mitchell for your comment. I shoot and edit everything on this channel on for Cargroomers. Thanks for noticing.
YOU never ever clay in Circles! Did you see! the complete lack of knowledge in their polishing technique shameful. But then again there customers are ignorant to the fact there pride and joys are having there paintwork ruined
I was a car valeter it bloody hard work on your own this looks easier as each one as his own task to do.
You must opening one in France .
So much professional detailers on here. Tell me, how many detailing tutorials have you watched to be such an expert? xD
You see, here at Hoppy's there are two tenants we live by. One, give you an expedited service reminiscent of an automated gas station car wash, and giving you a cafe atmosphere where iPads can easily be snatched at any time by an unsuspecting criminal.

Amazing job
lol they clay after they polish, also with those movements with the polisher you'll most certainly have buffer trails
It's a good idea, but not sure how popular this would be in the states, but may work. I do agree some of the techniques are very questionable. First time I've see the tri-polish washed like that, it's always used last here, but maybe try it first.
Now that's how you run a company
Dunno what all the fuss about a car wash is about. I spend about $4 at a wand wash. I pre-soak the car all the dirt just washes off. I dry it with 2 chamois cloths and use a different cloth for the wheels. I wash the cloths regularly as well and dry without fabric softener (obv). Car looks brand new and not just "washed".
Open your eyes and keep on staring to your Basic Lamb Curry. Got it, MATE.

I love cleaning my car myself 2 buckets 2 sponges a dry cloth and wax and an extra dry. i love doing myself its my own time to myself.
i've never taken my cars to a car wash before and I've been driving for 10 years. I take about 2 hours to wash and clean the interior.
This is a great concept. If only you were in the U.S!
Scratching the hell out of these cars
id just like to ask, that tripple shine polish how is it different to usual foam you would get at any other car wash in Sydney? or is it more for the aesthetic benefits?
You know what is the best way to wash a vehicle? Not to wash it. No water. Prevents corrosion. Use spray way buff it out. Bugs all all comes out.This man here is just talking fancy to make a simple car wash sound like its fucking magic.
i had the exact same idea of a carwash and cafe
i wish we had this in america.
I wish there was somewhere like this in the UK
we get it, you guys work hard. quit patting yourselves in the back.
It's all nice when boss around and on camera. In reality every wash is the same neglect mess, scratches and missed dirt spots.
We need a Hoppy's in Oregon!
2:54 black suzuki swift = f@ked already....
Jeah, and this is also a video based on "how not wash a car". They don't even rince the car before washing. They use a lot of foam that makes people blind : ohhhhhhh wow this looks great. The swirls on the paint? Hallo wake up!
Wash your own car, or have a professional mobile detailer do it for you. Rinsing the wash mitt isn't going to get those dirty particles off. It'll scratch the paint on the next car. A grit guard should be used.
@foguandme
9 жыл бұрын
Even grit guards don't do much.. Every time you push the glove into the water it pushes the water at the bottom to the top. But yes I agree with you. I was watching the part where they cleaned the cars skirting then went right too the doors... Doesn't take a genius to figure that one out...

+clinton fisher I agree with you about pushing the dirt and particles back up as soon as you dunk into the bucket. Regardless, I still use grit guards religiously. Cindy King clueless all cars have a clear coat big deal if they get scratched most people have shitbox's so why bother also even if you had a great car why would you pay to wash ut they'll probably fuck up your car fuck people are lazy and more money then brains
Why dont they use the two bucket method and only wash one panel at a time. Is someone in such a hurry that they cant stop the conveyor?
Well done guys, keep it up
we need this in the US NOW!

how much do we need to start this systematic and productive business
At 6:38 they sprayed window cleaner on the inside part of the window which looks to me a tint, which is a big NO!
You might try this once and you will be using their 24 hour guarantee policies
I wonder how much a basic wash is?
taking my lambo here next week
Clay bar and polish in straight lines
How much do you spend on drying a car?
this is all wrong.. a good detailer spends 2 hours just to wash the car. this guys go too fast and they're scratching the paint. also you clay first and then polish, they do polishing completly wrong. and they use the polisher wrong. If you want to take care of your car, go with a pro detailer,
