I'm actually building my own I'm a body that had sitting around since I was younger, and just got done wiring up all of the electronics and string and from my experience you can cut the excess string off if you want but if you don't have very tight string you may not want to because it makes it harder to restring. (I geuss somewhat obvious)

I had one set up, but I haven’t done them in a while, you need to do a mod to the servos and then use a double pole double throw switch, it’s a little complicated
