I have a japona shuriken venge hookah. Since 1 month the flavor is always very harsh. I have tried different bowls and also removed the pipe but it doesn’t solve the problem. The flavor always tastes kind of burnt and it never tastes minty even if the bowl is packed with mostly mint. When I remove the bowl from my japona hookah and put it on another hookah, then it tastes fine. That’s how I know the problem is with the japona hookah. What could be the issue?

Some say you can get away with doing a quick rinse after every session, then doing a deep clean daily, weekly, or monthly, depending on how often you smoke.
