NOPE...I live here, and guess what? It ain't that bad! There are no people sleeping on the streets, all the businesses are open, theres a mixture of nationalities, and there are way more nice parts of Mount Vernon than not. Oh, plenty of Grocety Stores and they are packed. This is May 16, 2022 check back with me on that in about a month.

lol...I use to live in Chicago IL and move to Mount Vernon Ny, Mount Vernon has it crimes here and there but ain't anything close to what we consider hood in Chicago.

Nah you just turned down my old block and that was a good neighborhood. Grew up In MV and never experienced staying in the hood....my Jamaican mother wasn't having it. Now we live by Phylicia Rashad, who also live in Mount Vernon.😊
