I could have done with more information not just stick it on and I've already connected it up. A video showing you connecting it would have been good.

It is so basic to wire it that if you decide to install yourself you should be able to understand the wiring. (not trying to throw shade towards anyone) You put your + wire (normally is red on most things) to positive and put your put the - (black wire) to the neg on the battery or better yet a great piece of metal that is anywhere on your vehicle. To make turn on and off you need to find which wire turns on either your driving lights, headlights, or parking lights. Splice your pos red wire into the wire. Done! I find the hardest part is sticking it on the vehicle. You dont want it to be crooked etc. If you still are confused on how dc power works find a youtube video that explains it. They will be better at explaining than I ever would.

Best and easiest way to install this light strip on my 2010 Ford Ranger was to stick it to the front edge of the hood. My fuse box under the hood doesn"t have an ignition fuse etc. to connect to so that the light strip will power off when you turn off the ignition. I just located a "hot wire" going into my headlights by using a test light and professionally spliced the light strip hot wire into it. All these hood - grill accessory lights are very inexpensive and super easy to install and add a little extra "zip" to your vehicle. Thanks for your review.

I just ordered a 59" for my 2015 200 Limited. I will use a Fuse tap off the F75 Cigar fuse. I will also find out what led is the +12V and make sure I install the tap accordingly! Can't wait to see it!

Thanks! I want to install an LED strip on our 2023 Toyota Venza and was discouraged because I see the hood closes very tight with a gasket, which I believe is what you were showing us here. I didn't see enough room to install a strip without stopping the hood from closing all the way. So it seems like mounting it on the underside of the hood like you did might work since at least some of the light will leak out.

Hey awesome video I do have a question I have the 70” led strip right now on my 2019 vw atlas but I saw 1 with signal also i e been looking at my headlight harness and it’s confusing as hell would I be able to use the strip with signal or just stick to the regular white led strip. I think if im not mistaken my call suv came with xenon lights so my turn signal is also my drl it just switches to amber when using turn signal.

2017 VW CC installed and looks great BUT it doesn’t turn off when you turn off the car or lights

I am gonna have to figure out the wiring...I have a 2023 rav4 hybrid, and the battery is in the cargo area behind a side panel. I am unclear on how to tie into the fuse box. I agree with other commenters about including the wiring portion in the video.

This is pretty clean just bought mine at 87000 miles gonna do some mods and found ur channel can’t wait to put some money into the car

Suggestion from someone that did ALOT of squad car installs: You should use 12v relays instead. Run your ignition to the switched contact of the relay then run battery + and Battery - to the relay. Much better and alot more reliability.

Hey bro I’m many videos for the 200 I show exactly where it is, but really you need to just find the fuse labeled ignition, and tie into it and then connect your black wire to a ground. After just test by turning car to the on position!

I was looking for how to wire it but that was not shown. :(

Do you know What colour are the tube leds stock? They seem like a white blueish... Thinking of doing white headlights and fogs but do the hood the same white/blue as the led tubes to accent it.

These are the basic white but they do make some color changing ones now!

I know some cars made in Canada, it’s required to have low beam DRLs and the states the DRLs I. The premium lights are just the strips bro!

What Length did you get?

Battery will eventually go flat leaving for long periods, if you do want this then put a breaking fuse on a live wire from a fitted switch inside car and from led strip red wire will then goes to switch. But tbh I would just link it to a fuse that only works continuously when ignition is turned on.

Ignition fuse can be many different types in different cars bro typically under the box in engine you will see a micro fuse labeled ignition

I thought this was supposed to make a line of lights across the lip of the hood. It looks good on this car but in the video at least it seems to just amp the existing headlights not as much the center of the lid above the grill.

You miss out most important is how to fix the wire you should video that

He shows the easy part did not see the actual wiring. He had it connected already and that's what makes the installation complete. BS. Where are these 2 wires connected. We already know one is positive and one is negative, That does not mean we know which wires to connect too. This video sucks
